Good eats at Fish Bites

This is a small restaurant with a great little bar and small dining area. Great for intimate lunch or dinner. The clam chowder is most delicious and hearty. The fish tacos are also great.

My boyfriend and I stopped in while we were in town visiting friends. I'm glad we did. The place was cozy and had a nice beachy feel. They had a pretty good beer selection. We had the shrimp poppers as a starter and they were really good. Cheesy, light, beer batter-like, fried. I had fried shrimp for dinner and he... More

Seafood was very good and selection was wide. The waiter we had was awful. Perhaps he thought he was a comedian with his wise cracks but very inappropriate as a waiter. Felt very rushed, don't believe we were even asked if we would like anything else when our check was brought to us. At this time there was no one... More

We had salad (rated "best blue cheese dressing ever" by us), clam chowder (also rated "absolutely perfect"), fish & chips (HUGE piece of fish cooked to perfection), shrimp basket (again, more perfection). The homemade chips were awesome too. We saw others having brunch items, and they all looked amazing!! The service was delightful and speedy. The decor was so interesting... More

We ate at Fish Bites on a Tuesday evening. January 2016. The place is very small and that creates lines at night which a lot of people have translated to mean extremely good. The offerings are the same as what many fish houses in the area currently offer and they are done fairly well here, but there was nothing exceptional... More

We eat here always when we visit. It is consistently good with decent variety on the menu. Their nightly specials also are plusses. Not a large restaurant so sometimes you wait but there is a reason people eat here.

Yes, they have a clam night (Wednesdays). Its a cozy little place with a small bar in the back so we sat down there. Had great specials on clams (duh) and some good beer specials going. The bartender suggested I try a special clam dish that was based on a red sauce with sausage, onions, bell peppers and clams in... More

Fish bites is family owned, so I had to try it. Appetizer of sesame tuna was good with seaweed, wasabi and ginger to accent it. The steamer pot comes with two sides per person and we chose salad and lobster bisque - simply delicious but left us with enough of an appetite for our entree. We ordered the steamer pot... More
