Great little place!

In town for a dance competition and used trip advisor to find a seafood place. Didn't want calabash. Arrived for a late lunch. Seated right away. Very cozy restaurant. Fun decor. I stopped here on advice from a friend. Wanted more than the fried seafood shack and not spend what it costs at most beach "fine dining" places. Not expecting much seeing the little storefront in a strip mall, but very happy we stopped there. Good selection, reasonable prices and great seafood. Don't get trapped at the boardwalk in a place... Not a fancy place but the best fish place in the area. Try the oysters Rockefeller stew a dish that seems to be a NC specialty. We have eaten here many times and have always been happy.

The only con about Fish Bites is the very uncomfortable wait. Moving past that (and you will have to wait) the food and service was outstanding. The special was a surf, Turf and Sand (Lobster, Filet and Scallops for about $38.00) but I can't eat all that. However for $16.00 I ordered a lobster tail, garlic potatoes and their amazing... More

This is absolutely the best seafood restaurant. I had the stuffed flounder on my first visit and it was so good I went back for a 2nd time. I had the crab legs and it was also very good. Excellent Restaurant

Hands down the best restaurant in the Carolina Beach area! The fisherman's stew is incredible! Also don't miss their crab cakes, shrimp and grits, and grouper cheeks! I must complement them on their service. We have enjoyed top notch servers consistently each visit. They take time to explain the dishes and offer advice on beer pairings, it adds a lot... More

This was hands down our family's favorite restaurant of our vacation! The restaurant is small so I would encourage you to arrive early in the lunch or dinner timeframe. The food was amazing!! The fish tacos have ruined me for fish tacos anywhere else. They were super fresh and you could select the fish you wanted for your tacos or... More

This hole in the wall has all the ingredients for a classic, laid back, family seafood restaurant. The good is well prepared, light, and with very fresh catch of the day. Congratulations to the chef. To top that, the staff is extremely friendly, smiling and helpful. We will definitively return when in town. A pleasure for all Tor senses!

We got the name of this restaurant from friends and it is in a strip mall so we may not have tried it if we hadn't. Tiny place with super fresh seafood and delicious options. We'll be back.

We always have a great experience and tonight was no exception. Our tables order included calamari, grouper cheeks, pasta, chicken tenders, flounder plate and Mahi. Everything was cooked perfectly. Portions are more than adequate, but not overwhelming and at a reasonable price. The service was prompt and friendly, even on a night when there wasn't an empty seat in the... More
