What a great place! Went there because we hadn't been there before. We did not have a reservation. We were promptly seated and served. We ordered falafel and calamari for appetizers. The calamari was the best we've ever had! Ever! Falafel was awesome I just wish the tatziki had more chunks of cucumber. Nonetheless, delish! We both ordered fish. The... More

The Black Sea Grill is small, quiet and elegant without being showy. We started with an Efes beer, a Turkish pilsner ale that was flavorful and refreshing. The stuffed grape leaves appetizer were as good as any I’ve had in Greece. For entrees we chose a grilled seafood and meat sampler and a local favorite, NC trout. Both were excellent,... More

Small space, huge taste! You can see and taste the pride the owner has in this restaurant. The kabobs are outstanding.

Delicious and good sized portion for kabobs. Friendly wait staff and surroundings. Will definitely go back again...and again!

Our first visit was for lunch and we were not disappointed. Our server whom I believe is an owner was pleasant and efficient. We each ordered a glass of wine and it was an excellent pour. My wife had the vegetarian sampler plate and I had the beef/lamb burgers, both were excellent. We will return for dinner. Small location but... More

This restaurant is a great find for someone who enjoys foods from other cultures. We sampled soup, salad and an assortment of appetizers. Everything was freshly prepared, perfectly seasoned and excellent. The hostess/server/owner was efficient and pleasant. The decor was refreshing not like some ethnic restaurants that are dark and dingy. This was the perfect place for lunch and we... More

I wish there was a bonus star. Black Sea Grill is the only restaurant I've ever eaten in that deserves a "SIX". I bring my family here every time they are in town. You do need to make a reservation for Friday and Saturday. I think there are only 10 tables. The atmosphere is quaint and intimate but you never... More

I've eating at the Black Sea Grill so many times, I don't even bother looking at the menu - in fact I ate lunch there today. I've tried almost everything and each bite was delicious. The wait staff is super nice and efficient. I've taken several friends and family members to the BSG and none were disappointed.

Staff is very professional. Slight problem with tea having an "old taste" but waiter quickly remedied our concerns. Trout was excellent. Price very reasonable.

The Black Sea Grill is a wonderful find. It has some of the typical middle eastern dishes as well as some we have not had before. We started out with crispy falafel accompanied by a yoghurt dill sauce. I had a vegetarian eggplant dish that was superb. My wife had a whole grilled sea bass purported to have been flown... More
