Our late night meal began with the waitress spilling water on my skirt!! She didn't even say she was sorry. When our pizza arrived, the crust was burned but was "doughy" inside. My friend ate one piece and said that he had enough. I ate about two bites. We asked our waitress if we could get a replacement pizza and she... More

I am a resident of downtown Wilmington and was very disappointed with SOL on Saturday 17 May. Not only did they raise their prices 50 cents per slice of pizza to take advantage of all the tourists in town but their slices were very much smaller. They lost a lot of business because of no table service and only cheese... More

I'm amazed at the negative reviews for Slice of Life (downtown). It is one of my three favorite venues in town. I've ordered a variety of items - pizza, quesadillas, Greek salad - and it was all fresh and good. You can get wine or a cocktail with your food, and there is outdoor seating with a nice view of... First timer. Stopped in for lunch. Got the special: 2 slices with 2 toppings, pasta salad and drink for $7.75. I was disappointed because the slices were old. They loaded pepperoni and mushrooms on top and reheated--it's just not the same as a freshly made pizza. The place was dead, there was only one other table eating so I imagine... More

Stopped in for early dinner on Saturday night. One waitstaff for bar and tables. Poor girl had five tables and a full bar. Shame on you Ray (owner) for such poor staffing. Service and quality stink when management get cheap. :(

I am an out of town customer that usually goes to the other two locations. Yes, a 45 minute drive for this pizza and other menu items because it is that good! However, when ordering a pie on a Saturday around 6pm I learned my lesson of not trying to go to the downtown location. I was told 20 minutes,... More

The pizza was better than chain pizza. Pricing was a little more than chain as well. However, the ceiling AC drips on you which I find disgusting. Also, the menu was too small. If you do not want pizza, you do not have many options. Plus, they had NO garlic bread! My recommendation, GET IT TO GO!

Service was efficient ,place was a clean bar. We had 2 slices of pizza, nachos and a taco platter. Chiptole and Pizza Hurt taste ...limited wine... More

There is nothing like Ny style pizza until now. Slice of life is like pizza in NY. The pie was awesome could not get enough. The atmosphere was excellent and the employees were outstanding
