This was our third time eating here – and we were not disappointed – it is still one of the best restaurants in Wilmington. My wife and I had the same things – escargot for starters and the fillet with pommes frites for our main dish. The escargot was extraordinary – cooked perfect without being chewy in the slightest. The... More

We had the opportunity to eat (again) at Caprice Bistro and found the experience to be beyond our expectations. The quality and presentation of the food was superb and Jay, our waiter, was exemplary. This was our 3rd visit to Caprice Bistro and we've already made reservations again! This is a dining experience that you don't want to miss. One... More

We made our reservations online, which was a snap. True to the European experience, this restaurant is open late so we opted for a 9:30 seating. Immediately, you can tell by the details that this is a French Bistro. There are curtains at the door. This is a touch I noticed in many places in France. I assume it is... More

Walked in and was immediately seated. The food was amazing and didn't have to wait long for it. I would find our waiter a little slow for taking our order (but he was fast to refill our drinks). The only BIG issue was they brought me a spoon that was very sticky/dirty and asked for another spoon when it came... More

What a lovely bistro. Go through the door & you are transported back to France or is it Belgium? These chefs can cook & how! We have eaten here on 3 nights & the food is exemplary. On a Thursday the special was rabbit in a mustard cream sauce. Magnificent. Another night a special of Pink Snapper with a Provençal... More

This restaurant is one of the best restaurants in Wilmington and one of the best restaurants I have ever frequented. Most will be surprised to find this genre of quality cuisine in a sleepy southeastern NC town. The French and Belgian dishes are unique and always poutstanding as are the desserts. There is a variety of food for anyone and... More

This has become one of my Favorite places in all of Wilmington. The food is Amazing and service is great too. The Water Zooi and the Mussels (in season) are the best things on the menu. But everything is delicious, and I have tried most everything.

Caprice has excellent French food at fair prices -- the staff is very pleasant, nice wine list. Do try the grilled Caesar salad and the mussels.

Last night 7 of us dined at Caprice Bistro. Everything was excellent. The service provided by our server "Katie" was spot on. She managed our group and all others, without missing a thing. The food was very good!! From the apetizers of calamari and the smoked fish to the entrees of duck, grouper, pork, mussels and filet mignon, all were... More
