I'm a local and have been to Caprice more than a few times over the last 8 years. It is still one of the best restaurant experiences in Wilmington. While the menu stays pretty constant, the french classics are well-executed and the service is very good. Though we didn't make it up there this visit, the upstairs bar is also... More

The swordfish from Ashville - It was beyond incredible! Moist and flavorful! Once again, I had the escargots petits gris - in Roquefort cream. Be sure to get extra bread to get every drop of sauce. BTW the bread is great, crusty outside, nice and light inside. The wine list is not large, but has something to offer for everyone.... More

Rarely we go out for a fine dining experience, and we had one at Caprice at the Wilmington waterfront. The ambiance is simple (which we prefer) and pleasing. The food was absolutely delicious and the service impeccable. The sort ribs was likely the best meal I ever had, and I sampled the seafood and other plates I tried were excellent as... More

Well, I am the Trip Advisor Member but I have to tell you that My wife and I had different experiences food-wise. Our waiter was polite and attentive however was full of kaka. My wife asked where the "local fresh caught swordfish" came from. His answer, Asheville NC. I almost LMAO. I said, there are no oceans in Asheville, it... More

Caprice bistro has been in Wilmington for years. We had our anniversary dinner here, and it was the best meal we have eaten there through out the years we have been going there. The mussels, trout, wazoole, and steak are always a good. Enjoy

Amazing food, small, intimate setting, great wait staff and owner. A friend from Dallas has told me they serve the best Duck she has every had.

The atmosphere is good, try to get a booth, small and busy on Saturday nights. My favorite dish is the Wazooie, a seafood soup that is satisfying and a very generous portion. Lots of French bread to sop up broth!
