Very nice restaurant...pleasant service, and the sea food is, or course, as fresh as it can be...worth the stop!

This is one of our favorite Wilmington restaurants. The food is consistently delicious, the ambience is French bistro and cozy, and the service is top-notch. Not to mention, the prices are reasonable. The location is steps from the charming riverfront. There is also an interesting upstairs lounge bar with sofas and a small bar. All-in-all, a great destination for a... More

I am a faithful user of trip advisor for finding places and for rating places for others. However, it recently let me down regarding caprice bistro. It started with the fact that despite having a reservation at the restaurant they did not have a table for me in the main dining area so I had to sit upstairs or wait... More

Even with the award-winning food scene in the Triangle, we make the drive to Wilmington periodically just to enjoy dinner at Caprice Bistro. This has been our favorite restaurant since it opened in 2001 and our most recent visit in fall 2014 lived up to the high expectations of Caprice that we've formed over the years. Service from our waiter,... More

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday dinner. It was everything we hoped for and more. I got the pear martini (whoa-so good) and we ordered the pork cheeks for our appetizer. I have to say the pork cheeks won in our book for our favorite item. They came with this incredible rich and creamy sauce and you get... More

I've eaten here several times. This time I ordered the Mediterranean pasta. Although this dish was good, I really had to strain to see any vegetables. I could taste a little artichoke here and there but I want to really see the vegetables in a $15 meal, not see a pile of pasta (which is inexpensive) and have to search... More

Everything was great - escargots, coq au vin, waterzooi, desserts. The wines we had were exceptional. Service was great. Will we be back? Oh, yeah!

A nice small restaurant within easy walk from our B & B, The Verandas. Service was pleasant and food was very good. I had the Coq au Vin which was delicious. Would have it again.

We had the prix fixe- 3 courses for $35. The food was great! A puréed pea soup, trout almond aisle, ( my husband) had pork tenderloin, and a delicious Belgian dark chocolate cake for dessert. The food was very nicely prepared and the service was great. Will return next year when we visit.
