Shame on Me

Went to Caprice recently before a performance at Thalian Hall. It has been quite some time since I've gone. Shame on me. Everything from start to finish was perfect. I had the onion tart(special of the day) as an appetizer and the local grouper off the menu. The tart was absolutely... read more

We go regularly to Caprice Bistro and love the wonderful, friendly, and warm atmosphere! The food is wonderful and there is a nice selection of wines which is different from all the other restaurants in town that carry the same wines all the time. I think it's a great place for couples and medium size groups. More than ten would... More

My boyfriend and I have ventured into the lounge area upstairs a hand full of times now. The martinis are delicious and not overpriced. The service is always friendly and helpful. Perfect spot to have a Lil lovers escape and cuddle up on a cozy couch with a great cocktail. There is also a decent number of wines and beers... More

One of our favorite places for girlfriends to meet for lunch or dinner. A favorite is their made to order salad and mini desserts!

We have dined at Caprice Bistro 14 times in the past 26 months. Beginning with a cocktail at the upstairs bar, we then head to a window table for superb French cuisine. Highly recommended for those visiting Historic Downtown Wilmington, NC.

Reminded me of the cozy, softly lit bistros on the side streets of Paris. Loved the food, the atmosphere and the service. If your favorite food is fried then go elsewhere. Great for foodies.

My boyfriend and I received a gift card here for our birthdays (both in October). We had always wanted to try it. We made a reservation (a must because the place gets packed) and were seated quickly. My only real criticism of the restaurant is the set-up; it is one big room and quite loud, and I felt that the... More

Caprice Bistro has been a great choice for years. My wife and I celebrated our anniversary there last night- Both meals were delicious. Great wait staff and a very skilled bartender. Nice touch with a martini. We had a window table in the second floor sofa bar area- Could not have asked for a nicer evening. Don't miss the mussels!!... More

From start to finish I loved every part of my meal and experience. The crepe forestiere was absolutely delicious and there were a couple of fun craft beers to have with it and I ordered the special for the Thursday night which was the beef short ribs. The wine by the glass menu was very good and the entree was... More

My wife and I visited Caprice Bistro as part of our 34th Wedding Anniversary celebration. When we arrived, we were met by the friendly wait staff and escorted to our table. (Luckily we had a reservation because the place was packed). I can only say that the food was good, with the side dishes being most delicious. They must not... More
