We've been to Caprice Bistro a few times and decided to celebrate our anniversary there. We had a reservation, but arrived early, purposely, so we could enjoy a cocktail in their quaint upstairs bar area. I ordered a Dirty gin martini and my husband a Stella Artois. My martini was one of the best dirty martinis I've ever had! I... More

This is a lovely bistro with a great wait staff, wonderful wines, a great atmosphere and most importantly, the best crepes I have ever had. They are amazing and a must try. This has to be one of my favorite restaurants in downtown Wilmington. Yum!

This restaurant is truly a jewel. The wine was excellent and the ambiance delightful. The food was better than any we had on a recent 4 week visit to Paris and Provence. We returned again after our first visit.

ok first review of a restaurant I have done. Came to Wilmington to visit my niece and went to Caprice for dinner. Don't know where the bad reviews came from? We had a great meal. Had the coq au vin and the pork dinner both where fantastic. Chris (our waiter) was very helpful with his suggestions. The owner (hostess) was... More

If you are visiting Wilmington, you will not want to miss the Caprice Bistro. Both of our dinners were excellent which were complemented by exceptional service. You do not want to miss this opportunity if traveling to Wilmington.

Escargot, Escargot, Escargot!! Having lived in France, I had the pleasure of enjoying fantastic escargot. Since then, I have only been disappointed, until now. The escargot is French Fantastic! Tried to order the swordfish from Asheville, but I visited the wrong night. Maybe next time.

My wife and I had spent our anniversary in Paris this year, and when I suggested a French restaurant in Wilmington I think we were both a little skeptical of how it would stack up. It was excellent, the whole experience brought us back to our time in Paris. I had the beef bourguignon which was tender enough to cut... More

I'm a local and have been to Caprice more than a few times over the last 8 years. It is still one of the best restaurant experiences in Wilmington. While the menu stays pretty constant, the french classics are well-executed and the service is very good. Though we didn't make it up there this visit, the upstairs bar is also... More

The swordfish from Ashville - It was beyond incredible! Moist and flavorful! Once again, I had the escargots petits gris - in Roquefort cream. Be sure to get extra bread to get every drop of sauce. BTW the bread is great, crusty outside, nice and light inside. The wine list is not large, but has something to offer for everyone.... More

Rarely we go out for a fine dining experience, and we had one at Caprice at the Wilmington waterfront. The ambiance is simple (which we prefer) and pleasing. The food was absolutely delicious and the service impeccable. The sort ribs was likely the best meal I ever had, and I sampled the seafood and other plates I tried were excellent as... More
