YUM! Jester's is a phenomenal little spot in the antique district. It's built into an old cottage home, leaving the ambiance to be cute and family-oriented. The kitchen is fully visible from the restaurant! The staff provide excellent and friendly service, without missing a beat. They always have a delicious quiche of the day, ready to be gobbled up. Carol and I stopped by here last Thursday (1/2) to have breakfast prior to getting our day started. We love this place! It has a comfortable environment and friendly servers. It is also consistent, the same quality and reliable menu items - every time. You cannot miss with the quiche of the day!! They are flexible in allowing me to... More

This place is a funky old house that had been turned into a little cafe with great salads and sandwiches. We eat here for lunch every two weeks and have eaten most the menu and it is all great. The staff is super friendly and always in a great mood, sitting outside on the porch and watching castle street roll... More

This great little bistro has very good coffee, excellent quiche and quite frankly, I almost bought a quart of the daily soup to go home with me. The quiche was perfectly hot, very generous and it was delicious. The white bean soup, well, I would go back for another bowl with the perfect balance of ingredients. The atmosphere is very... More

I enjoy dining on the porch at Jester's. The food is amazing and the service is beyond exception. A perfect break from a busy day at work. I haven't had a meal I didn't love yet!

We called ahead for a group of ten on a Wed morning. Staying in Carolina Beach but spending the day in Wilmington to walk around Water Street and visit the USS North Carolina. Jester's had places waiting for us 30 min later. Restaurant is in an old house which gives a great atmosphere. Owner and staff were friendly, and service... More

We had the black bean patty topped oven baked eggs with a chipotle hollandase benedict sauce topped with sliced tomato & avacodas. Well we were a little skeptical but went with our waitress's recommendation, again all I can keep saying is WOW! What a great combination of favors, can't wait to try this one at home. Excellent, Excellent, Excellent............

Jamie and his staff have created a friendly atmosphere with quality food, within an informal setting. Menu consists of breakfast items, salads and sandwiches. A big hit with the locals. I usually get the quiche special with fruit on the side plus coffee. The black bean burgers are to die for!!!
