Great first experience!

My husband and I have talked about trying the OC for quite a while and finally did so last night. We made reservations prior to arriving and were seated immediately upon arrival. Quite disappointing from the minute we walked in - right on time for our reservation to be told a table was not ready, they checked the cell number from the reservation, and curtly advised they would text when the table was ready.... A very unpleasant attitude from the "hostess". And if they wanted to text, why didn't they text to... More

I went here with several other people. They have a very comprehensive menu. I enjoyed the mushroom risotto. It was flavorful and had tons of mushrooms! The atmosphere was nice yet a little crowded. It is not a place to have an intimate conversation. Nor is it a place to go if you are in a hurry. There was downtown... More

As always. great service, our waiter was Mort. Opted for the quattro fromaggi pizza (white pizza no sauce). Spouse got a great eggplant, perfectly prepared. (Side note: I tried their lobster bisque which was sub-par, sent it back0.

From the excellent bread, to the inventive and tasty appetizers, to the main courses it was a fine evening. Great olive oil. Creative nightly specials. There was a kerfuffle with our table not being ready anywhere near on time, but the management responded well and understandingly.

My wife, sister-in-law and I ate at the O.C. this weekend. We have all eaten here numerous times as their Italian food is excellent. It was a Saturday night and we were seated pretty quickly. The restaurant and bar area was crowded as usual. I ordered the Create Your Own Pasta and the ladies ordered Spaghetti Cicchetti and Tortellini Michaelangelo.... More

OC did a fantastic job. Although I'm not a big fan of risotto, we both ordered seafood risotto. One word - WoW! The presentation of the white bowl with green (spinach) risotto, topped with large scallops and shrimp was one of the best meals I've ever tasted! (And, I only had one glass of wine) There was a hint of... More

Wow! Fantastic Italian! I split the house salad (which they split on 2 plates). The fresh bread was delicious & the tortelloni was rich & flavorful! No room for dessert this time. I can't wait to go back.

Our family of 7 went out for dinner the day after Thanksgiving around 6pm and decided on Italian cuisine. The atmosphere was warm and the server friendly but the food was nothing to write home about. Pricing was moderately high for pasta without sides. The Caesar salad that two of us ordered was bitter, that is the Romaine , and... More

Nice bar area to wait in. Nice atmosphere for a restaurant of this large size. Calamari was great. One appetizer will be enough for approximately four people. Meatballs are huge. Pasta was cooked perfectly. Sauce was ok...thought it would have more flavor due to the color. Prices were very reasonable even for a moderately small plate. The plates, however, are... More
