What a great find

Very authentic French Bistro offered a great menu, terrific food and charming service. If you want a sophisticated yet finely executed meal give BDS a try!

We entered this restaurant from the Fountain side of Lumina Station so got off to a bad start in that the guy in charge showed us to a table in the corner of the restaurant obviously having made a judgement that our shorts and tee shirts did not fit with the chic youg people of Wilmington. A bit surprising this... More

Went for brunch this Easter with all of our family...A++. Always enjoy meals here. I would give it 5 stars but I feel you are not treated that well if you aren't a regular or a local from the area. I would say that is the only negative, everything else is top notch and worth the visit.

I visit this restaurant about 6 times each year. I think the latest visit was the best one yet. We had the Saturday special, salmon wrapped in phyllo, sliders and a salad. Everything was really good! We sat outside and it is a very nice place as the sun sets. I have to say this is one of the most... More

Went to this restaurant for Easter Brunch after reading a bunch of positive reviews on Trip Advisor. They were right! What a nice restaurant. Great food, excellent service and a pleasant setting. It also looked like they had a nice outdoor seating area. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this establishment and will look forward to another visit when I am... More

While most of the servers at The Brasserie du Soleil did not seem to speak French, the menu clearly does. The service was professional and the food was so delightful that my party chose to dine there twice over the course of a weekend. For lunch I had shrimp salad on a croissant with a side of haricots verts. The... More

What a great place! Nice location on the way to Wrightsville Beach, nice ambiance and decor inside, great waitstaff, and absolutely delicious! Saw a mix of couples, friends, and families. I had the Salmon en Croute.....and it was seriously one of the best meals that I have ever had. My meal was $25, so average pricing for a restaurant of... More

Frequented by locals, this French bistro always produces quality food and service. When the weather is warm we love dining on their back patio. Everything is great but we especially love the roasted chicken and steak frites. Reservations are recommended in the summer months.

The choose your own ingredients salads are fun and delicious as are the mussels, pommes frites and not to be missed dessert minis. Brasserie is a great place to go, whether it's for a romantic dinner, lunch with the girls, or a large party. The filet with mushroom sauce is always a favorite, as well as the oysters on the half shell. The seafood specials are terrific too. If you go at lunch, try ordering a build your own salad. And, if you... More
