Still daydreaming about this meal! SO GOOD!

What a great place! Nice location on the way to Wrightsville Beach, nice ambiance and decor inside, great waitstaff, and absolutely delicious! Saw a mix of couples, friends, and families. I had the Salmon en Croute.....and it was seriously one of the best meals that I have ever had. My meal was... read more

Frequented by locals, this French bistro always produces quality food and service. When the weather is warm we love dining on their back patio. Everything is great but we especially love the roasted chicken and steak frites. Reservations are recommended in the summer months.

Wonderful ambiance and a superb menu with many wonderful choices. An excellent wine selection and one of the best Bloody Marys in Wilmington. The choose your own ingredients salads are fun and delicious as are the mussels, pommes frites and not to be missed dessert minis. The bar is great and offers a cozy seating area for cocktails or a... More

Brasserie is a great place to go, whether it's for a romantic dinner, lunch with the girls, or a large party. The filet with mushroom sauce is always a favorite, as well as the oysters on the half shell. The seafood specials are terrific too. If you go at lunch, try ordering a build your own salad. And, if you... More

The food is delicious, but still not my top choice for French food in Wilmington. Their salads are very underwhelming, and their liquor/drinks from the bar are very limited. Other than that the atmosphere is nice and the main dishes are flavorful and tender. They offer many choices for oysters and all are delicious! I would definitely eat here again.

I celebrate my birthdays here as well as just stopping in for lunch and dinner. This is the only restaurant my husband will visit. Yesterday I was treated to a birthday lunch by friends and it was, of course, delicious and totally up to par. Mussels and the best french fries in town. A wonderful bottle of Pinot Gris, great... We were in Wilmington visiting my brother who was on the hospital. After a grueling 6 hour drive, we just wanted to relax. We found Brasserie du Soleil! It was such a pleasant evening. We had a scrumptious French onion soup, heavenly mussels in a saffron sauce, tuna tartare, and a nice vegetable risotto. The waiter recommended a nice oaky... More

My husband and I went to Brasserie with our neighbor on a busy Saturday evening. We had called ahead, so we were seated right away. The restaurant is noisy and the tables are too close together. However, it is an attractive restaurant and it is fun for people-watching. The bar is always jammed. That being said, we have always had... More

We have a 2nd home in Wrightsville Beach for over 20 years, and have loved each and every visit to Brasserie. It is a gem in an area noted for excellent food choices and ranks as our #1 favorite in the area.

It was a special for the evening. Venison chops and shank with root vegetables. It was extremely tender and the sauces were fabulous. The tuna tartare is also very special. I have been to the restaurant many times and it is always noisy unless you eat inside.
