Wish we would have gone here sooner

We had seen this place for years but it never made our list. Too bad for us. We finally made it and can't believe we didn't go sooner. This place is great. This will be a regular stop when in Wilmington. If you haven't been here just go. You will be glad you did. Both the food and... read more

My wife and I had dinner here on July 4th. I had a veal dish and she had salmon. Both dishes were well prepared and nicely presented. The highlight was their version of a tomato, basil and mozzarella salad which we shared. We dined outside by the small pond. The service was friendly, professional and efficient.

We find ourselves at this restaurant more than others in town. It's consistently a good meal with excellent service. Salad, french onion soup, flounder, steaks, mussels are all wonderful.

I have eaten here innumerable times. The food is usually very good. The restaurant is consistently very noisy. Very difficult to have a conversation at your table in a normal tone of voice without yelling. Some of the wait staff tries to be "a bit too cute" but generally the restaurant is an enjoyable experience. Good food, good service, good... More

This is a delightful restaurant that provides and excellent menu. One feature I particularly like about this restaurant is the the fact that you can build your own salad from a list of ingredients. The salad was great. The other members of our party were also pleased with their selections - soups and sandwiches. While our friends have eaten at... More

Always enjoy the "Brasserie" and have eaten lunch and Dinner many times. Their sliders at lunch are a delight. AND their authentic French Fries are the best in Wilmington.

We had dinner at Brasserie this past Sunday and experienced some of the worst food. I will start by saying the service from our waitress was good. The salad and escargot was also excellent. The low two star rating comes from the flavor of the mussels and short ribs. The short ribs were served in this very heavy sauce that... More

My first trip to Brasserie du Soleil was quite pleasant. I took the option of sitting inside, as the outside seating seamed a little crowded and popular. I felt very attended to by all of the wait staff, including the hostess. The shrimp and scallop croquette (skewer) was good for a smaller appetite. The menu was interesting, but it would... More

Typically i come here for salads although their other food is great too- i really like the fish n' chips at lunch. But THE SALAD is really wonderful- it's set up in a create your own from a list of ingredients which i think is great. I load mine up with bacon and goat cheese, you know, the healthy stuff.... We had eaten here several years ago and thought to try it again. The restaurant is attractive, and the staff is very pleasant, especially Cabette, our waitress. The food, however, was only ok. My husband tried the blue point raw oysters which were just alright. He had blackened red fish which was so-so served with coleslaw -didn't seem like the right... More
