Great food. Great for dates.

The Little Dipper always delivers on a great meal. The menu can be overwhelming but just ask the staff for help. If you order 3 courses you will be totally stuffed. The staff is always great. Just remember to call ahead and get a table by a window overlooking the street. Plus the menu for outdoor dinning is slightly different... More

Plenty of menu options plus affordable fondue prices made this a very enjoyable Fondue experience! We've had plenty of experience at 'The Melting Pot' and wanted to try a 'mom and pop' fondue restaurant for a change. We were not disppointed.

This was a business oriented dinner. We were seated in a large dining area which have views of the Cape Fear River. The servers 'performed' as they prepared the fondue. They were definitely part of the experience as they explained all the components of the cheeses served. We tasted three cheeses with various meats, vegetables and fruit. The chocolate sauces... We love fondue! We were regulars at The Melting Pot. Little Dipper blows it out if the water. Little Dipper has an elegant yet fun look to it. Wednesday is Ladies Night and you can't beat the specials! We made a reservation and happened to be half an hour early; they were able to go ahead and seat us. Our... More

My husband and I went here for my birthday and it was really enjoyable! It was a nice place to take your time and sit and talk for a couple hours. We had never been to a fondue restaurant before and our waiter was really patient and explained all the (numerous) options available. My favorite was the cheddar ale fondue... More

We took our grand-daughters to Little Dipper for a special treat. Neither of them had done fondue before. We did the Fab Four which was a lot of food, but we ate every morsel. The room was full on a Sunday night and the service was excellent. The raw meat and vegetables prompted much discussion for the girls. It turned... More

A great find in the advertising cards at the Staybridge Suites! It's always hit or miss with places you find in the ad sections at hotels. This is a hit. We went for late desert and had the dark chocolate fondue. Although a little pricey it's well worth it and none of us left wanting more, quite to opposite. The... More
