We stopped here based on Trip Advisor reviews while on a family vacation on a rainy Saturday afternoon. The salad bar and hot buffet choices were delicious at a reasonable price, the service was friendly and attentive, and the facilities appeared to be clean.

Recently built in the western style, the building provides fun atmosphere and has a full bar. I highly recommend the shish-kabobs and their burgers are terrific. The locals know that Ms. Nina oversees the salad bar, which is always very fresh. This restaurant is very well maintained and is kept scrupulously Clean.

No frills establishment with a regular big ol' salad bar - no fancy stuff here - but tasty and filling. Ribeye was good, baked potato was just what the doctor didn't order but you wish he would have. Reminds me of a restaurant of days gone by when we didn't know haute cuisine. If you feel like re-living those days,... More

Very good food, friendly attentive staff. We had the buffet, although they did have a menu of other offerings. Buffet did not have a large selection, but everything we had was very good. Very cute western style building and decor. Everything was exceptionally neat and clean, even the ladies room! We plan on going back again.

We dined there the first day and the food was good and the staff very friendly but my husband received his meal and after he was done they finally asked if everything was ok and I said I still didn't receive my meal. They apologized and offered it for free. No, I said I would pay it was just an... More

Food was average buffet. Menu is limited if not getting buffet. Staff is very friendly and attentive. They closed at 2:00 after lunch and reopen at 5:00. We got there at 1:30 not knowing this but did not feel rushed at all. They refilled the buffet even this late for all the latecomers. Not bad at all if you like... More

Right close to our hotel. Had the buffet. Loved the corn puddin. Staff was very helpful. I'd definitely try this place again.

I suppose this deserves four stars since there isn't much else around the area. Good menu and an amazing waitress could make it three and half stars. I had the pulled pork and found it amazing.

A group of friends were attending an event at the Senator Bob Martin Eastern Agricultural Center but were looking for a more substantial meal than we could get there. We tried the Hitchin Post and were very happy with our choice. Food was good, served quickly and the staff very friendly. We all ordered meals, those who had burgers said... More

I stopped at the Hitchin' Post Restaurant while on the way to the beach. I was looking for a place to eat and was glad to find this place right off of the highway. It is fairly big and included both a main dining room and a separate bar area. I was seated in the bar area and the waitress... More
