Boondocks is a superb restaurant in so many ways. All of their food is excellent and the variety and service is over the top. It has become the place to go when we have company comes to town because of the food, atmosphere and service. Every that I have eaten there has exceeded my expectations and I would recommend Boondocks... More

Our Family of 10 ate at Boondocks on Sunday evening. We had wings and the bacon wrapped scallops for an appetizer and both were really good. We also had the filet tempura and it was very tasty and juicy, the crab on top just made it over the top delicious. It came with veggies and baked potato but I wanted... More

I had the Bacon Bleu Burger and it was very tasty. The serving side was a good size, so I hope you're hungry when you go. My husband had the Reuben and said it was memorable and among the best he's had (Reubens are his favorite sandwich) We went on a Friday evening and sat out on the deck and... More

Boondocks is the only restaurant (and brewery!) to go to in the West Jefferson/Jefferson area! The burgers are to die for and the MEATBALLS are outstanding! We ALWAYS look forward to a dinner out at Boondocks. It is absolutely EXCELLENT with a 5-star bar as well with MANY choices for local microbrews and their own personal brews are OUTSTANDING. I... On a Sunday evening there are few places open for dinner. We decided to give Boondocks a try. The 3 of us each tried a different burger. Piled high and delicious. Surely a place to go to again when we are back in town.

My husband and I drove on a beautiful August day in the mountains and decided to try out this restaurant . We ordered the onion rings, pecan pear chicken salad, and the barbeque chicken sandwich - all were wonderful! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal sitting in the outdoor seating area. Our waitress was great. And I couldn't resist ordering dessert... More

This place is great with the micro-brewery. And now they are expanding building a bigger brewery for more great beer. Had a small dinner and the food was great. We sat outside and watched it rain and enjoyed the view.

After trying to order several beers and being told they were out, I finally had to ask "which beers do you actually have". I understand taps run out but the available should outnumber the unavailable. Sadly I didn't get to taste the in house ipa but heard the new brewery is being built close to location. Impressed the burger was... More

My wife and I came to Jefferson for a weekend getaway for our anniversary. This place was so disappointing. I ordered the chicken fingers which os one of my favorite things to order at restaurants. The description says fresh, battered, etc.. I am thinking these are hand battered from their description and charging 9 bucks for them. The waitress brings... More

We were staying in nearby Jefferson and heard about this "brewery", we are from an area with alot of breweries and we enjoy different beers. When we got there we found out they only had one beer on tap that was theirs! This was confusing because they claim to be a brewery. So we did not like their beer so... More

Thank you for visiting us and for taking time to post your review. I understand your disappointment. We are currently in the process of expanding into a second location just up the street so that we can produce more of our own beers for the restaurant. As our name implies, we are a Tap Room & Restaurant and not a... More
