We stopped by for lunch. Service was excellent. Very friendly. I had the chicken salad sandwich and it was delicious. Hubby had a Rueben and he really enjoyed it. We both had the red pepper soup and it was delicious. We didn't have dessert, but there was an excellent selection.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch while exploring the area on our honeymoon and had a delightful experience. The roasted red pepper soup was amazing, and my chicken salad sandwich was delish. My husband had the same soup and a greek panini and loved it! The service was great and the price was fantastic--really good value. Great little... More

We have eaten at Sweet & Savory several times. The food is good, nicely prepared, and pleasantly served. You can buy a variety of homemade and delicious cakes, cookies, and other treats. Find this restaurant during a stroll through downtown W. Jefferson.

We arrived in town yesterday and arrived there at 5:15om for dinner. Unfortunately, they close at 5 on Friday. I'm so glad we went back for lunch today! The food was amazing, and so were the desserts! I loved my grilled portobello mushroom sandwich & chicken rice soup. The kids lived the grilled cheese. & turkey & cheese. Hubby lived... More

My wife and I saw the good reviews of Trip Advisor and decided to give it a try while in town. Their specialty is sandwiches (they probably have about 20 different sandwiches to choose from). The sandwich comes with a side or soup (ranging between $7 and $9). I chose the crushed red pepper soup, and it was hearty and... More

I am always up for a good BLT, however this one was disappointing. Wife had the downtown sandwich and it was very good. Tea was a little bit watered down. Had a Monkey Bread cupcake afterwards that was okay, but a little dried out. Will try another place if we ever go back...

Gets crowded at lunch time. No wonder. Food is delicious. Can get soup & sandwich for less than $10. Everything's homemade including desserts at checkout counter. Friendly, efficient wait staff.

If you want a delicious sandwich, soup, salad, and baked goods for dessert - this is your spot for lunch. You can order a sandwich - whole - or order 1/2 sandwich with either soup or salad. Their homemade red pepper soup is awesome as is any of their homemade soups.

If you like what you had at this restaurant today, order it again next time and it will be prepared the exact same way. Great soups and many unique sandwiches. Place is rather simple inside, but it's always clean and bright. Always crowded at lunchtime. Homemade bread and pasteries. Service is excellent.
