We were in the area for a long weekend to visit the Biltmore. We came here twice over a three day period. Coffee was great, carrot cake was delicious, and the mountain-cream-filled-chocolate-covered thing was fabulous. Staff was friendly and funny. We will definitely go back to this place if we are ever in the area.

While they don't have a huge gluten-free menu, I loved the crustless quiche and salads available for lunch. They do have a few gluten-free dessert items such as macaroons and creme brulee. The rest of the family loves the desserts!

This restaurant has a great selection of salads, sandwiches and soups. The desserts are out of this world! My only complaint is that they do not serve sweet tea. The simple syrup to sweeten your tea with is so weak that it takes 12 to 15 pumps and therefore weakens the tea !!

This past weekend I went to Asheville, NC for a weekend visit. I was driving around the area to kill some time while waiting on the rest of my party to arrive in town. I ended up on the road to Weaverville and arrived into a cute downtown area. I saw the Well-Bred bakery and I have a sweet tooth... More

We stopped here for lunch in between our zip lining tours in Barnardsville. We each had a sandwich and a side of your choice of salad. It was hard to choose because all the salads look delicious! Everything we had was very good. We didn't have any of their desserts, but they looked awesome. I would highly recommend if you... More

This place has a range of standard and not-so-standard bakery offerings. Had a delicious French Toast casserole and good coffee, and the tomato and smoked gouda cheese quiche was also excellent. And the scene was quite entertaining too. Worth a visit, and honestly there is not a lot else going on in Weaverville on a Saturday morning.

And that's no lie! Stop into Well-Bred if you find yourself near Wearverville and order a mountain eclair. The large ($6.00) will easily feed four to six people. The petit is good for one or two. Don't argue with me on this, this IS the best eclair in the entire world. Sample their other delusions baked goods and quiches while... More

Too humid, Probably. Get it when you can. It has a crisp brûlée like top with creamy tart lemon smoothness below, and a shortbread cookie base. Heavenly.

Great everything. You can't go wrong with anything you order. I've been here for baker goods for breakfast and had sandwiches for lunch. The different coffees, cold and hot are also good. It's a good place for internet, also.

I have already reviewed the Well Bred location in Biltmore Village. It was quite good, so I decided to try the original location in Weaverville. I had heard a lot of good things about it and as it turns out everything I had heard was true. I didn't know very much about Weaverville, so I was pleasantly surprised to find... More
