Hand lunch there yesterday and had my mouth all set for their Morrocan Chicken Wrap with the cashews and apricot sauce and was so disappointed to learn it was no longer on their menu. After looking over the menu, I settled on the rib "special" which was not all that special. Just some cheap country style ribs slathered in some... More

Kooky decor - a little bit of everything, kind of jarring but funky! A touch of Greece with Greek-type lettering in their logo and some items on the menu that include feta cheese where you might not expect it. The menu was quite interesting and offered many choices, our food was very good and service was fast and friendly. There... More

I'm not sure where to start. With the super funky decor??? Or, maybe the incredible menu choices??? How about the great servers??? Bottom line is it was so delicious that we had to go back for a second time before we headed home to Houston. The Bloody Mary's garnished with a slice of crispy bacon are an absolute must! On... Interesting environment that helps keep Asheville weird. Individual rooms with different styles. Food is great and service goes right along with it!

My wife and I were introduced to Stoney Knob by friends that had recently relocated to Asheville. Not being told what to expect, we were amazed by what we found. The decor was extremely unusual ranging from a statue of the Madonna to a velvet Elvis. A tour of the three dining rooms is a must. No restaurant can survive... More

We celebrated our first anniversary at this wonderful cafe. It is fitting really because our wedding reception was at this restaurant. We loved it so much, we came back a year later. The decor is classic and funky. Our server was nice and attentive. And the manager is also right on point. We usually get the wild mushroom ravioli. My... More

We love going here. We try to often. We've tried most items from the menu and recommend them all. The Greek food here is amazing since the family who owns it is Greek. A must stop in Asheville!

I expected "cafe" type food. The food is interesting. I'm a picky eater, so there isn't much on the menu that I cared to try. I got the grilled pimento cheese sandwich and the cucumber salad. It was ok, just not my thing. The service was just ok. Ran out of drink for awhile before I ever got a refill.... More
