Great place to Eat!

Been to this restaurant many times, not sure why I have not reviewed this place before, this is one of the best restaurants around. Just went to brunch with the wife. I do not think we have had a bad meal here. Everyone should try this place!

What a nice find! Excellent ribeye and quite good crab cakes. Nice selection of wines by the glass and very accommodating servers. Very casual attire is fine. A nice experience.

My brother-in-law and sister-in-law spend their summers in the mountains of North Carolina and we are very fortunate to visit in the summer when it is so hot in Houston. The last three years they have taken us to this great restaurant. Just driving by you would never guess how great the food and service is. One hint though, the... More

We stayed nearby at a rental cottage and they had a book of comments from other guests... LOTS of folks gushed over Stoney Knob Cafe so we decided to try it. We weren't disappointed. The salads were fresh, I loved the Basil Ginger salad dressing. I had the Salmon which was wonderfully cooked and the flavors were amazing… I could... More

We were staying at a near by b&b and dropped in when we saw it was crowded on a Tuesday evening. Parking was tight but I found a spot. Hannah at the front desk, said we could wait at the bar while a table opened. Our bartender, Emily made the best white sangria ever! My drink had an ice ball... More

This is one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten in. The crab cakes were mostly meat, not filler like most.the Ceasar salad the best I have ever tasted. It was like 5 star dining in an eclectic, comfortable atmosphere. Can't wait to come back again. Excellent wait staff.

You know how you go to a great place and after some time it might seem to slip or get old? Well, this is NOT the case with SKC. Tonight three of us had a fabulous meal. I tried the cucumber and basil martini and it was awesome. My fried oysters followed by the scallops and pork bellies were outstanding.... More

This artsy fun and flavorful diner is a must while in the area. Minutes north of Asheville in the delightful community of Weaverville it responds to local charm and out of this world tastes. Eclectic doesn't quite do it. It is so much more by providing traditional diner fare with that little something else that makes it so special.

Friends and I traveled to Asheville for the day to shop and dine. It's so close that it's a nice getaway. We ate lunch at Stoney Knob Cafe on the way - a place we had all eaten and loved in the past. It didn't disappoint with its fresh, tasty food that's not another hamburger joint or quiche/sandwich cafe. The... More

Great food and service. Ribeye was perfect as were the oysters. My partner had the grilled salmon which was perfect as well. Next time I'm trying the lamb taco.
