This restaurant was recommended to us by a local, and it was on the mark. Great pizza - fresh ingredients and perfect thin crust. The garlic knots are falsely advertised though. Once these fluffy mounds of puffy golden delicious dough came to our table (served with marinara) there was no evidence of a knot. Actually, in 5 minutes there was... More

This pizza was from scratch and they have types that you don't find anywhere else. I highly recommend the Islander pizza. Hummus platter and a brownie sundae. The bartender was very helpful in letting us sample all the different local beers. We ate outside and was able to visit with the very friendly folks eating around us. Great time was... More

Wow, what a hidden gem!! In the little, and mostly unknown town of Weaverville, NC, there is some of the best Italian food in the US! We didn't have the pizza, but it smelled delicious. We each had a different pasta dish and both of us were incredibly impressed!! The prices are good and the food was clearly made fresh.... More

One night recently, my wife and I went for a early evening drive. With no perticular place in mind, I drove up to Weaverville from downtown Asheville. It's a short drive, maybe 15 minutes or so, and going up Merrimon, after the rain, you could smell all the flowers and such. It was wonderful. We had not had dinner yet... More

We came to BMP on Sunday evening for Tracy's birthday. There were 5 of us in the party. We each had something different from the menu. I had the chicken carbonara in mushroom sauce. It was delicious. Tracy had the portabello mushroom salad. We had reeses cheesecake for dessert. I will eat here again....

with a wonderful atmosphere, their own beer and ice cream when it is good it is very good, However the most consistent thing about this eatery is that it is inconsistent and not cheap.

Great pizza (we got the Parrot Head and bread sticks), atmosphere, and service. I'm not a beer drinker, so I can't comment on that, but the food was excellent, the staff was friendly and when I told our waitress it was my friend's birthday, she didn't bring out a slice of cake, she brought out a GIFT; a bamboo salad... We were passing thru Weaverville on our way to a rental cabin. Our family of four plus a baby in a high chair enjoyed a great pizza at Blue Mountain on the 4th of July. Good beer, too! Our server was great, the live music was nice… it looks like people come from near and far. It was very crowded... More

I've had very good pizza, here, in the past and enjoyed their evening, live music. So far, my two separate lunch orders were the Tomato Bisque Soup and yummy bread. It's a great lunch for $5. The staff is very efficient and friendly. Afterward, enjoy a stroll down the same street of Main - Weaverville for small town Americana.

This place is way over priced for what you get. The food is fair to average, but the prices are above average. The dinning area is small, they do have live music at certain times. Drive to Asheville and you will find better choices.
