Great Dinner!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this restaurant in Waynesville. The service was excellent and the food was great. You could tell that the items are prepared fresh and are not frozen. I had the chicken tenders which were awesome and my wife had the fried catfish. I would definitely go back.

Went here and ordered the Country Fried Steak and Southern Fried Okra. Honestly I have had better at Craker Barrel. This place looks nice on the inside but the food I had was horrible. The "Southern fried Okra" had to have been a cheap store bought frozen variety. The country fried steak wasn't much better than what I could pick... More

I Sugest making a reservation as it can get very busy specially when the there are a lot of out of visitors. They have a menu that offers from Southern Fried Steak to some Sushi dishes. Full Bar.

I've been there twice now & have had great food & service both time. The staff is knowledgable about the menu & wine. A little on the pricey side but totally worth it. The menu is not the usual chain type things you find everywhere but still down to earth and very good.

Always a good place to eat lunch or dinner. Good food with some creativity! Reservations are a good idea when there is a group and during the busy season.

Been there a few times and am never disappointed. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Wide variety of items on the menu. Don't miss the crabcakes.

Honestly we felt it was a bit pricey for our tastes. The food was great. Maybe we are just not the upscale dining types so honestly I have no complaints!

As you may have seen, I've written several reviews of The Sweet Onion, and all of them have been glowingly positive. Food has always been fantastic and service has always been attentive and efficient. That is why, with great disappointment, I hate to write this review. I took my grandmother to lunch last weekend and immediately thought of treating her... More

We had lunch here on Wed., February 11. The food was great and the service was great. My wife had a pasta dish that was the special of the day. I had the short rib with blackberry barbecue sauce. Both were very good. The sauce on the short rib was the best I've ever tasted. We had more food than... More
