Great food, cozy patio

All 5 of us thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Small menu of fresh, homemade, quality items. From the spinach salad loaded w/good bacon bits to the Reuben on delicious swirled rye to the tall and loaded quiche as well as the tomato bisque we we all had happy/full bellies and look forward to our next... read more

I'll admit I was going in with high expectations due to already hearing glowing recommendations from several trusted sources, but it was better than I could have even imagined. We had the risotto goat cheese balls as our appetizer (indescribable but SO GOOD), then ordered the two specials-- a sea scallop dish and a tri-cut steak prepared similar to a... More

This was our first time here-the restaurant had been reccommended to us-and we weren't disappointed! The woman who waited on us-her name was Heather I believe-was incredibly sweet and very helpful-and the food was excellent! I had a delicious seafood dish, but the star of the night was a deconstructed lasagna that was to die for! I am going to... More

I can't say enough about the ambiance, the wine list has many well-priced French offerings. Everyone loved their food, the bread, mussel appetizer was wonderful. ---With the exception of the steak. We had 2 different selections that included beef and they were terrible. ( and very expensive). They must use the same provider as the Sweet Onion because they have... More

Dining as it should be. Atmosphere is cozy. Staff is, like menu, small but awesome. Two couples out for dinner the night we went. The pace of service and amount of attention paid to us was spot on. Not too much. Not too little. Dinner came quickly after our order and everything was as it should be. All four of... More

We love the Chef's Table. The food is fantastic--creative but not strange, tasty but not too highly seasoned, beautifully prepared and presented. We ate there two nights in a row and the two evenings were different in the food choices we made, but all of us raved about our selections. The first night 3 had the special steak and one... More

Very well orchestrated service and menu. Fresh, local ingredients make this place. Winos and foodies must try!

We are locals and this is one of the best restaurants in Waynesville. Owner Chef Josh prepares each meal personally. Food and service are great and the drinks (full bar) are good. Seating is limited and reservations are a must during the summer season. All the pasta is made in house.
