In general I would recommend this restaurant, BUT the red wine was served cool, the risotto was dry and not creamy, and the bread was very hard. That being said the ahi tuna was great, the lamb shank was terrific as were the beef wellingtons. And the 2 appetizers tried were incredible! It was cold outside but the restaurant was cold,... We found this restaurant four years ago and when we make our annual trip to Waynesville, this place is an absolute must. Each time we go there is something new and the chef ensures that the food is the freshest. If you make it to Waynesville, do stop by and have dinner. Reservations recommended but if you forget, you may... More

Good food but a very noisy restaurant with tables very close to each other. Chef does a nice presentation. Given it's a small restaurant you need reservations

My husband and I ate here for Thanksgiving dinner. We ordered the goat cheese risotto balls as an appetizer and they had a nice flavor and a mixture of textures. My wine was ordered at the beginning of the meal. Only after the appetizer was almost finished that the waiter sheepishly asked which wine I had ordered. A refill was... More

Great service and excellent food at reasonable prices. We made reservations, which is a good idea, because the restaurant is small. It is only open for supper. My husband had the best NY strip that we have ever tasted.

Ate here last year and returned again. My wife loves Duck and theirs was one of her favorites. Dina at Brookside recommended that I try the " Deconstructed " Lasagna. She was right on. It was unusual and very pleasing to the palate. Chef's Table is in my opinion, the finest restaurant in the area among an excellent field.

I am from Charleston, SC, which is known for its array of restaurants. The Chef's Table is on par with most of the restaurants in Charleston, but at half the price. My husband and I are so glad that this place was recommended to us. The entire meal was delicious. The chef switches out the menu every once in a... More

They offered selections you normally only find in bigger cities at 4 and 5 star restaurants. Examples are Crispy Roasted 1/2 Duck, Lamb Shank, Deconstructed Lasagna, and several prime steaks with Veal Demi. All we're prepared perfectly and everyone in our party was completely satisfied.

I've eaten here four times over the past couple of years. My first two times were great and loved every aspect (food, service, etc.). My husband and I went there last Friday to have dinner with four other friends. Our dinner reservations were for 7 pm. Three of us ordered their special, the sea bass, only to find out that... More
