Crab cakes are incredible

My husband loves crab cakes, so we have tried them most everywhere and when I saw them on the menu my mom said "crab cakes in the mountains..." I decided to try them anyway and we all agreed that they were some of the best we have ever tasted- anywhere!! We also had the trout. I had the table... read more

This restaurant sits on the Blue Ridge Parkway, a ways from Asheville and Hendersonville NC. However, the restaurant is unexpectedly good. It serves breakfast, lunch and dinner because there is an inn attached. The view itself was worth the trip. But the food was fresh and quite good. Try the corn fritters, the soup, desserts (homemade ice cream, whipped cream,... More

Most visitors travel up the Blue Ridge Parkway to the Pisgah Inn for the beautiful view. But instead of being satisfied to be a view destination, the staff have created an outstanding restaurant. The Dining Room Supvr. could not have been more professional and helpful. Our server was delightful while being exceptionally efficient. The Trout is delicious.

If you want fresh fish, filleted at your table but don't feel like fishing or cleaning the fish, come to Pisgah Inn for fish caught the very same day! We arrived at 4:30 and had a glass of wine on the deck, sitting in a rocking chair and taking in the view. The restaurant opened at 5:00 and we were... More

Let me start by saying, "this is the best hidden gem I have ever seen". My wife and I were camping at Devils Fork state park, about 60 miles from the restaurant. She had stayed at the Inn when she was (much )younger and talked me into taking her up this mountain to visit. As the old saying goes "happy... More

We had a wonderful lunch with a terrific view. It was the first time that we ate there and we only had a very short wait to get a table near the window. The waiter was very nice and we were promptly served.

The Pisgah Inn is on the Blue Ridge Parkway and is closed in the winter. This restaurant has a genteel charm, great views, well trained, professional staff, and well prepared food. The best seats are on the window wall, but you can see out from many of the tables. Menu is pretty much straightforward American fare, but is fresh and... More

We have dined at the Pisgah Inn Restaurant multiple times and they never disappoint. I love the trout, the onion soup is delicious. The breakfast is great too and I'm not a breakfast person. The food is tasty, the service is great with friendly staff, the view is unbelievable. Our waiter Jerry is funny and upbeat, David was friendly and... More

We had breakfast, lunch and dinner. Each meal offered had many selections including specials that you could chose from. the food was fresh with a lot of flavor. Price was very reasonable for the quality of the food you get. The service was great. Even if you don't stay at the Inn, you need to stop and eat there if... More

We ate here the night before Mother's day. We had to go put on name on the list at about 4:30 or so. The first 10 get to sit by the window. I was wondering why the hotel would've give paying overnight guest first dibs and not make us wait 30 min before it opens. I would suggest they do... More
