Refreshingly different

A trendy, casual place to get great tasting food and excellent coffee. My wife and I shared the Big Buddha salad, an Asian taste sensation. It was really good and big enough for both of us. If you spend any time in Waynesville, be sure to visit Panacea in the frog district.

We stopped for lunch...split a turkey pain and had a bowl of the Cheddar Vegetable Soup. The bread was very goid and not too thick. The turkey was amazingly tender.Sat by the creek to eat. Loved the atmosphere! My husband says we will definitely return before our week here is over (:

The place to in Waynesville for fresh roasted coffee and freshly made to order sandwhiches of all types. Vegan included. Usually three different types of coffee on any given day. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. We have bee going there for over eight years. Also a stream I'd located in the back with a patio to have you lunch with nature!

Downbeat, hipster, unpretentious, Goodwill furniture, lowend, GREAT coffee, chow a bit pricey but satisfying, a hangout/meeting place for local atmosphere, between an Epson Salt factory and a soup kitchen. Check it out.

You know those places that do everything well but not anything excellently? That's Panacea. The most wonderful thing about this place is the atmosphere. Yes, it smells like a coffee shop but that would be misleading. It is more than that. In fact, our group of 15+ only got one coffee. Smoothies, food, and the other many wonderful offerings of... Seemed like lots of people liked it, but I'm not a fan. Stand in line to get sandwiches that seemed to me they went out of their way to ruin. Everything has something "odd" added to it. Take the idea of a club sandwich and add raspberry something to it. Only two things on the entire menu were sorta normal...grilled... More

We stopped in to Panacea Coffeehouse for lunch and drinks. They have an eclectic menu from their drinks, to sandwiches to ice cream. We ordered the "Molly Christo" and it was great. We visited on a beautiful day and took advantage of their outdoor seating. The sun was shining, the weather was perfect to sit and enjoy the creek that... More

This is a great place to have a coffee date or lunch with friends. The atmosphere is great and they serve the BEST coffee. The prices have gone up on their sandwiches and that is disappointing since they were on the higher side already. I also wish they were open until 6:00. I would love to stop by after work... More

We enjoyed a quick stop for some coffee on our way to Greenville. The space is large and comfortable, lots of seating options and space to move. They have a back patio area, as well. Coffee was on point and breakfast options were what you would expect - bagels, muffins, fruit and yogurt, etc. This place is great for a... More

Lots of selection of coffees. The staff is very friendly. It is quiet and great for small get together or meeting up with others.
