This was our second visit to meet friends and share a meal...with accompaniment! Not a huge menu, but everything our table had was delicious...tapenade, salads, pasta, steak, scampi...and well-presented. Our hosts and servers were welcoming and appropriately attentive without hovering. Their selection of talent...chamber music the first time and rousing holiday songs on this occasion...both entertained and fit the space.... More

This is the best wine selection that I have found in Waynesville. If you want fine wine (to drink there or carry out), this is the place to go. The food is secondary, but not bad. Good cheese and appetizers. We have been here at least a dozen times and I have never been disappointed.

What a warm, inviting and cozy place. Amazing wine choices, food was to die for, and local musicians excellent!

We reserved a table specifically to hear a new guitarist we had dicovered on WNCW, our favorite western NC FM station. I discussed the artist with the owner and gave her our information and phone number. We arrived and were seated right down front. The waitress delivered water and menus. There was a guy setting up the PA system and... More

Wide range of wine selection, with good entertainment in a small, intimate setting. Fun events including wine and beer tastings. Just around the corner off Main St. In Waynesville.

They do a fantatsic job marketing. I enjoy seeing their emails. It is a little difficult to enjoy, depending upon where you are seated inside, but there isn't much they can do about it. They bring in good entertainment, but for us, its all in the seating and food availability.

This is such a quaint wine bar with an extensive collection of wine that it astounds me. We found this place several years ago and have watched it evolve into a true destination. They have very talented musicians on the weekends and wine tasting events during the week. Jazz dinners on Saturdays with dinner included in the ticket prices. The... More

Came here with my wife expecting a nice dinner, wine and some good entertainment. Got two out of the three. My first advice is do not expect an upscale restaurant atmosphere, or service. It was simply some tables set up in a wine store. When we first walked in there was no hostess or anyone to greet us and show... More

Jewel hidden in the middle of nowhere, in the middle of town. From the street you get a very small feeling, but inside it is like you are in the basement (wine cellar) of the entire city block.

Do NOT go here if the Block Party is going on. The middle aged male owner was so overwhelmed that he treated my husband and I as an imposition in his restaurant. I promptly handed him his old paper menu back and left without dining there. Which isn't a bad thing since it was dingy smelling and they had a... More

We truly value the opinions of our customers and we apologize that you did not feel welcomed when you visited the Classic Wineseller. We regret that we were only able to offer indoor seating, not the outdoor seating you requested. Providing our guests with the best possible entertainment, food, and drink is our passion.
