Our children gave us a dinner here for our anniversary ,it was a great dinner!great service and a pleasant atmosphere
It has been a couple months and I cannot remember the specifics but I do continue to have this on my local recommended list. I have not been disappointed. Not packed I think because it is a turn off the main street and then on the other side of the side street it is located on. It is located very... More
The menu items in which we were most interested were not available. The restaurant does not serve Coke products or national-brand beer. The local brew was about as good as our second-choice menu selections, which is not saying anything good at all. Staff was indifferent. On the other hand, the facility itself is attractive and sophisticated, actually too good for... More
Our first visit here. Anthony Wayne's is located inside a renovated building that could be on the national historical registry. Beautiful setting and amience. My wife and I went in for lunch on a weekday. It wasn't busy and we noticed a one person wait staff, besides the hostess who doubled as bartender. I was disappointed to learn that they... More
We have eaten Sunday brunch here on several occasions and it was great! Today we ate lunch here and found it to be awesome ! We will be trying Anthony Wayne's for dinner soon !
We dropped in on a Saturday night for a lite meal. I wish we had been in for a full dinner. The menu was varied and it was hard to pick. I tend to avoid fresh water trout - but I decided to give the "Sunburst" rainbow trout a try. It was an excellent choice - fresh, delicate and perfectly... More
My wife and I stopped by Anthony Wayne's for the first time while visiting Waynesville for the weekend. The food was absolutely delicious! We started off with a Hummus appetizer and a piece of flat bread topped with chopped tomato's. Our main course was fish both of which were excellent. From the wait staff to the hostess our evening was... More
As the title says, the setting is elegant. A former private club now open to the public for dining, it has an excellent menu, fine service, comfortable seating. We wanted staff to take their time and they obliged - we didn't feel at all rushed.
Quiet gracious setting in an old once private club. Exceptional service coupled with well prepared food. Our favorite spot. Ample wine list.
Went first time for 61st birthday. Best crab cake appetizer, cesar salad, and entrees ever! Snapper dish and smoked pork tenderloin was the very best ever. Great service and management on top of things to make things run smoothly. Ate outside and it was so pleasant and inviting. A must place to eat. We will be back.
