The atmosphere while slightly prosaic is still very comfortable. If you are a bourbon fan or a microbrewery fan, you need to visit this location at least once. They offer a run of 8 local brews in 2 ounce shots. We went for lunch and returned for dinner. Lunch was very good and the service was attentive. The Turkey Panini... More

Called earlier in the day to make a 6 pm reservation. The person we were talking to suggested we wait until 6:45 and the dining experience would be much better. We did, and she was right. When we arrived, we were greeted by name ( never been there) seated almost immediately by the owner and had great service and food... More

I have not eaten dinner at this venue, but have had lunch here twice. Both visits have been very pleasing. While this place is not in the main street area, it is not far from downtown. The first thing I notice in any place I dine is sanitation....their rating has consistently been 100%. This is a sure sign of professional... More

We stumbled across Bourbon Barrel Beef & Ale while looking for a bite to eat after a long day on the road. It was an unscheduled stop which I'm totally glad we made. The food was fantastic and the presentation equal to it. We could tell that there was a lot of care put into it. The atmosphere was very... More

My husband and I stopped there while we were in town and we were really impressed with the place. We sat at the bar, the bartender, Tony, was great, and my margarita was delicious. Their bread is very good, and their steak stew, which we had as a 'soup' was outstanding. We both had the horseradish crusted salmon with polenta... More

I have never had a bad meal. Love their sandwiches, steaks, meatloaf is to die for (wrapped in bacon). French onion soup is great too. Tonight I had the sirlion. It is more like a fillet but at a better price. It was tender, juicy, and amazing flavor. We used to think of this as one of our hidden treasures.... More

After a bad experience eating at the bar in February, we stayed away for almost 4 months. However, the food enticed us back and for this visit, we made a reservation so there would be no chance of being at the bar again. Our meal was very good. I enjoyed the voodoo pasta and my husband had the Grouper special.... More

We have been to "The Barrel" on many occasions. Every time we go, we are NEVER disappointed. Tony at the bar is the best! The food is amazing and the service is superb! Ashley has truly done a remarkable job creating a place you will LOVE to spend your evening. ALWAYS looking forward to our next visit.

Met a few of my Rotary club friends for an informal meeting recently at BBB and A. I had heard that it was pretty good. I was impressed. I enjoyed a local brew and loved the cajun pasta. Next time I'll try a steak. Service and atmosphere were perfect. I'll definitely return and will recommend it. Great choice with parking... More

My wife and I decided to try this place based on Tripadvisor ratings and the word of a co-worker. We were very pleased. We arrived early for lunch and had our choice of seating. The service was informative, helpful, and efficient. The food arrived quickly and was tasty, warm, and was presented well. The place has a good drink selection... More
