Nice little place for a comfortable evening and quality food

Very popular place in Waynesville. Good food. Sometimes there are really nice and interesting specials. Good for lunch or dinner. Some street parking, other parking across the street

My husband and I ate here last week while motorcycling in the Blue Ridge. Locals at another local hangout suggested we give a try, and boy were we glad we did! I had the filet, cooked to a perfect medium rare. It was served with a macaroni and cheese that had bacon and mushrooms and was so creamy! I love... More

While on a recent business trip to this area, we stopped for dinner and found well prepared unique dishes. While there were a few minor glitches, all in all we had an enjoyable evening.

In all fairness, when we went for dinner, there was a private (loud) party so we tried to get as far away from them as possible. The food was very good and the service was great, but the noise was terrible.

We eat hear from time to time and most of the time out meals are exceptionally good. We been here for lunch and dinner. For lunch the "Wild Turkey panini, salads and soup" are delicious. For dinner the steaks are cooked to perfection and I really love when they have a fish dish option. Most of the time service is... More

We had reservations for 7:45. Arrived at 7:40. Was told we had to wait the 5 minutes to be seated even though there were 4 available tables, one of which they placed us at at 7:45...weird. The appetizer of shrimp and fried green tomatoes was excellent. The salad that we ordered with our meal was very good. I ordered the... More

I've been coming to Waynesville / Haywood for many years, but I've never gotten the chance to visit this restaurant and I finally made reservation and visited there and boy was it terrific. It is a nice place and service was wonderful. My wife and I split the French Onion Soup and some of the best I've ever had; she... More

We live in Waynesville and have never tried this restaurant so we decided to give it a try. I called to see if we could get in and they said they were really booked but if we could get there by 6:15 they could accommodate. We arrived and they had the last table available waiting for us the place was... More

So about 2 weeks ago, my significant other and I decided to go to lunch here. (the food is delicious but horrible service) We arrived about 10 minutes before two for a quick bite to eat before we both head off to work. We were greeted by a lovely young lady which then seated us and got us drinks. She... More

Heather, I am so sorry to read about your experience at the Bourbon Barrel. I did in fact ask the girls why you two had not ordered and I was told that you had requested more time. I was aware of your table because Casey had just applied here and I wanted to speak to her about employment after you... More
