We enjoyed the Tipping Point. Took a day trip to Waynesville and shopped and stopped here for brews and fish and chips. Terrific server Jad N. A huge selection of beers. She led us to a great ale and the fish, cod, of course, was lightly battered. The chips are ordinary. Overall a nice local bistro.

Great food & local brews! Enjoyed listening to singer/songwriter Ashley Rose, right on Main Street beside galleries & shops!

We have been returning to Tipping Point with every trip to the mountains. The food is just so good. This last trip we all had something different, the steak and cheese is chock full of some extras! Love the deep fried Tater tots; the only time I EVER eat them, burgers just great, the fish n chips such a surprise.... More

Everything a tavern should be. Good, simple, well prepared food. Full bar with an excellent selection of in-house and other locally brewed craft beers (I recommend the Chunky Blonde Gal Amber Ale). No fuss service, reasonable prices and of course great bar atmosphere.

We enjoyed the food and liked the selection of craft and domestic beer. It was nice to find a casual place with friendly people.

Today my wife and I took our first trip together to Waynesville to tour the city and see what shopping is like there. My wife and I love antique shopping. Having spent several hours in town, it was time for us to find something to eat. We stopped at the Tipping Point Tavern and were not disappointed. My standard for... More

Found this place while walking down Main Street during our visit to Waynesville. After walking around and shopping for a little over an hour we were ready for lunch. We were at the end of the street and ready to turn around when we saw this place and decided to give it a try. Glad we did. The place was... More

I was in Waynesville on business, and I met people here for two nights for dinner. I did order a drink, but I do not like beer. The drink was not a great value - $5 for a small rum & coke, which I thought was too much. The service was good, and we happened to be there on Wednesday... More

Okay, it is a bar, but the meal we had was excellent. My burger was perfect, as was the fried corn. My wife ordered the tempura style chicken with roasted garlic rice and it was outstanding. Service was great, which is a pleasant contrast to one horrid waitress we often time got.

Stopped in later in the evening and had the mountainous order of nachos and local micro brews. All including service was excellent. Don't miss it.
