If you are looking for an after-hours place to eat in downtown Waynesville. You'll find a dark little place with seating in booths and at the bar. Four big screen TVs were perfect for watching the World Cup semis. Menu isn't extensive, but the bar is full service and popular. Try the beer battered chicken tenders or turkey bacon Swiss... More

Check this place out if you are a micro-brew expert and want to cool off on a hot afternoon. The atmosphere is fun/casual, and they have trivia nights each week. Downsides? It is LOUD, and the food is pretty ordinary, not terrible, but not terrific either. Interesting memorabilia on the walls, worth one visit while you're in Waynesville but probably... More

Hometown type bar. OK bar food. Not bad for a cold one after a day of hiking. Convenient location to take a break from walking around town & shopping, too.

Let us first say we like going to taverns and restaurants that are predominantly frequented by locals. Stopped at Tipping Point Tavern our first night in Waynesville. Walked right into a place full of locals having after work drinks/dinner and watching World Cup. Once we found a table we just relaxed and enjoyed the atmosphere. It was a great way... More

Visited here 3 times in one week to watch World Cup games. The bar food was pretty good and I ate 3 different things. They have some house brews which my companions said were good. Friendly staff and locals seem to be main clientele which is a good sign.

Typical bar fare, nothing to write home about when you have places in Asheville right down the road that are much better. The bar was busy, but I didn't really enjoy their in-house brews. The selection was fairly limited, with PBR and house drafts taking up at least half the taps. The atmosphere was nice, we got to catch a... More

Very comfortable and welcoming restaurant. My favorite is the turkey sandwich - tastes like leftover Thanksgiving - or better. We always enjoy our meal. They have a couple of outside tables so on our last visit we were able to enjoy the weather and downtown Waynesville too.

Just another pub like place that serves some food and craft beer. I can't say anything that was extraordinary or spectacular about this place but I enjoyed my meal and beer.

We were passing through and stopped by and really enjoyed ourselves at Tipping Point. We sat at the high table, it was a great evening of just catching up with friends.

We went to try the local brews at Tipping Point Tavern. It was late afternoon and so we weren't having dinner. We ordered the flight and tried some amazing craft beers. Finally decided we needed chips and salsa to go with the beers. The salsa was Sooo good. Really hit the spot! We will definitely be going back for lunch... More
