Really really good food!

We missed them for lunch and so we went for dinner. Dinner's are a bit expensive but honestly good food is not cheap. We opted to order many small plates instead to get a variety of things to try. The food here was amazing! One of our orders was a beef slider and it rivaled a kobe beef burger... read more

The food was absolutely delicious. We went for lunch as the dinner menu was a little to pricey. Our waitstaff was wonderful. Presentation of food and atmosphere was great! The only downside was that some of the tables are a little too close to wag other.

Frog's Leap Restaurant was recommended to us when we were visiting Lake Junaluska. We were thankful to find it open at a time many of the area restaurants were not. I'm so glad we did! We were delighted to find a unique dining room with an excellent staff waiting on us - if you can get Liza as a server,... More

Let's start off with the biggest negative-our server. She did not have a pleasant demeanor and was very pushy trying to upsell drinks and later dessert. She was not what I'd call a professional server and this downgraded the experience. Also the ambiance of the restaurant was not romantic at all so I wouldn't recommend for a special occasion like... Great food. But I was striving to find some food on menu to order. I ended up paying more for my meal that I wanted because nothing on the menu really appealed to menu but the steak and fries. Now the restaurant was very clean and the food I ordered was very good. Our server tried to push drinks on... More

My husband and I had lunch here while visiting from Florida. We ordered the fried pickles, fried chicken tacos with sea salt fries, and the Kimchi beef sliders with bbq sweet potato fries. Out of all the places we ate at while visiting, both of us agreed that our meals here were the best we'd had. Service was excellent. The... More

With a break in the weather we were up in the western North Carolina mountains and stopped in Waynesville for lunch. We found Frogs Leap to have a good variety of creative and well prepared food. The service was attentive and at a high level. The wine list is acceptable with a good variety. The ambiance is elegant but casual... More

Some friends and I visited the Frogs Leap for a birthday lunch. This was a really great lunch and we all really enjoyed the atmosphere. I love that they have left the old brick that was probably original to the building. We each had a little something different ranging from a salad, to soup, to a awesome burger. If you... More

Good food with some creativity. They have remedied the wood-smoky atmosphere. Reservations should be considered for a group or during busy times.

My first visit to Frogs Leap was a very good experience. Went for lunch on Valentine's Day. The food was very good and a reasonable price. My chicken sandwich was very good and my husband had fish tocos (they were a little skimpy on the fish, but had a great flavor). The sweet potato fries and the regular fries were... More
