A Unique Farm to Fork Experience: Innovative Southern Food with a Local Backbone & Home Grown Libations Frogs Leap Public House is a farm to table country pub at the corner of Church and Montgomery Streets, built in 1918 as the southeast's first Buick dealer just one block south of Main in the heart of historic downtown Waynesville. FLPH is focused on the culture, art, music, wine, beer and especially the food of Western North Carolina. Like the City of Waynesville itself, FLPH is Southern down to its roots, but draws influences from around the world. Awesome Fried Green Tomatoes

We had 15 in our group. Part of our party was arriving late, but they happily served those of us that were there. They did not rush us out even though we were there after closing. I ordered the fried green tomatoes and they were the best I have ever eaten!!! Our party probably ordered about... read more

Dined here one evening with my mother and sister. Very attentive and friendly waiter. The Devils on Horseback were delicious. A little pricey but great casual atmosphere. Tables are arranged so you aren't right up near other diners. Clean flatware brought out with each course. True farm to table.

My family and I stopped in for lunch on my daughters recommendation. The menu had changed since her last visit and they did not have the sandwich we went in for. I had the $12.00 burger and it was was very good. I had the sea salt fries with my burger, my wife had the collards which she enjoyed as... More

Second visit and still top notch experience. True farm to table. Got a sampling from fried green tomatoes, wings, brisket and trout. All were well prepared and extremely flavorful. Is it a little pricey? Yes, but this isn't the Cracker Barrel! Anybody that goes to the expense of serving local ingredients without the hormones and antibiotics etc. has to charge... More

I thought that after another year or so this restaurant would have improved. To my disappointment, the issues we experienced the first time have not improved. The "smoke" from the oven that is open to the restaurant makes dining very unpleasant. I left with red, burning eyes and hair and clothes that need immediate washing. The food was just OK... More

We did not have a reservation (didn't know we should) but it was a Tuesday evening and we got in easily. FABULOUS FOOD! Goat cheese bonbons were a surprise and delightful. I am not a huge goat cheese fan, but the bonbons were so outstanding (i tried them on a TripAdvisor recommendation), that i ordered their goat cheese pizza for... More

The inn offers a wide variety of dishes and wines at reasonable prices. The wines are arranged by price category and include both foreign and American wines. There is a list up on the wall of the local farms etc that provide the food. The menu offered lots of interesting choices from all over the world. There was a tendency... More

Food is excellent. Great choices. Fair kid menu. Great service. Bill added up quickly and we were a little shocked by the total.

I may have expected too much... ordered a nice salad, but it was absolutely nothing special. I like the fact the produce is local, but feel for the price I could have gotten a crouton or bread with my salad. It was basically just some fresh vegetables with a little oil and vinegar. I'm trying to be healthy, but this... More

This restaurant takes pride in offering the best local food available. The menu is varied, offering something for every taste. The wine list is very good, interestingly wines listed by their price. The service was the perfect balance of professional, knowledgeable and friendly, casual - thanks Neville.
