Located a block off Main Street. In several visits for lunch and dinner, has been consistently good.
We found this place quite by accident, and what a fortunate accident it was. The food is an innovative twist on classic southern ingredients beautifully prepared and served. The Mushroom Soup was amazing! The veggies were fresh and the meatloaf was a memory that I will cherish. Service went way beyond good, including advice on attractions in the area and... More
Great food displayed beautifully. Menu is seasonal with healthy choices. We sat at the chef's bar and watched them cook which was amazing because we got to see all the meals that were brought out. Phenomenal service wait staff was very knowledgable on all aspects of their menu and very nice.
I have eaten here three times since October 2013. My mom and I absolutely love it! I've never had bad service or rude servers - everyone has always been pleasant and I love the food. We even ate Thanksgiving dinner here in 2013. They have large portions, excellently seasoned food - the ham is wonderful as is the meatloaf. In... More
This team has it together. I don't think I could complain about anything...which is a strange feeling. Professional service and presentation. Great atmosphere...and the food was unbelievable. I was surprised and my expectations surpassed.
We were very pleased to find the rare place that the quality of food matched the reviews listed. We were uniformly pleased with everything - with the exception of ONE item and that is because the hush puppies are listed as corn fritters and they are not. They are classic hush puppies loaded with onions. Would never have wasted money... More
Unfortunately, we have encountered a rude, unfriendly reception here twice. The hostess was just rude. No hello. No welcome. She was angry we didn't have reservations. She seated us right on top of another group even thought the place was practically empty. This is a charming place with a lot of atmosphere. The menu seems interesting. They try to use... More
The menu changes with the season and this time was more suited towards sandwiches. My hubby and I always meet up with friends and Waynesville is our halfway point. So we have eaten several times here. Always really good food; a bit pricey but in the summer it's mostly farm to table so it's worth it. Atmosphere is rustic; there... More
My wife & I went here for the 1st time on Valentines Day for a dinner without the kids. The menu was very unique with choices that you would not expect in this part of the state, a small town. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will definitely return for another romantic dinner.
Waynesville, located among some of the most beautiful vistas in the Great Smokey Mountains has a jewel of a restaraunt just off the main shopping district of this quaint mountain town. Frogs Leap is unique for the selection and quality of its North Carolina cuisine. I have eaten there six times and have always been more than happy with both... More
