Great Lunch

Some friends and I visited the Frogs Leap for a birthday lunch. This was a really great lunch and we all really enjoyed the atmosphere. I love that they have left the old brick that was probably original to the building. We each had a little something different ranging from a salad, to soup, to a... read more

Good food with some creativity. They have remedied the wood-smoky atmosphere. Reservations should be considered for a group or during busy times.

My first visit to Frogs Leap was a very good experience. Went for lunch on Valentine's Day. The food was very good and a reasonable price. My chicken sandwich was very good and my husband had fish tocos (they were a little skimpy on the fish, but had a great flavor). The sweet potato fries and the regular fries were... More

We made reservations three weeks ahead for Valentines Day evening. We arrived and sat down immediately. Server was Megan. Very friendly and helpful. We opted for the regular menu rather than the Valentine special. The brisket sliders were excellent and so was the Caesar salad. The pork chop cranberry sauce I believe needs a dash more spice as I could... More

I managed in food service for 28 years and can say this is the best food i have ever had . Farm to table and the menu varies with the available local produce, fruits and cheeses. Wonderful recipes from the in house chef ! Better call ahead to get a reservation everyone in town wants to be there also.

We first tried this restaurant 4 or 5 years ago - and my wife declared it her "favorite restaurant" outside of Muriel's in New Orleans. We've only managed to return a couple of times since - but tonight was the same religious experience we've come to expect ... Except for the Mac & cheese which was previously baked. Sadly it... Fully 75% of the menu had pork or shellfish in the dish, and I don't mean the kind that you can ask to have left out. The first time we ate here, it was amazing. The second time, not so much. Next time, I'm going to call ahead to see if there's anything on the menu we can eat.

FLPH is a great place for special occasions or just a night with friends. Not only is the menu ever changing but it's creative. You can't go wrong with the meatloaf anytime! The sliders are awesome and so is the pork belly. The beer is always local and exciting to try! One of the best things about eating here is... More

We have enjoyed dining here in the past and were lucky to reserve two seats at the chef's bar next to fun people. The fall winter menu reads lovely. A bit heavy on some ingredients that repeat. Honey and smoked items particularly. The brisket meatloaf was epic actually, but the little macaroni used with it read pedestrian to me. Both... More

Almost complete opposite experience to our first visit. Service was fine, but nothing special. Appetizer was decent, but certainly nothing to rave about - crispy goat cheese/pistachio bonbons. Small portion. My wife's broccoli cheddar soup was completely overpowered by paprika and she noted very little broccoli within. The cheesy grits were very good and the best thing today. Burger on...
