Consistently great authentic food. Friendly staff. Have eaten Thai from NYC to London and places in between, and this place meets or beats them.

I had the tofu pad Thai. It was delicious. I ordered it thai spicy - it was spicy but if you like it Thai spicy it's not spicy enough. I would come back

New owners are doing well continuing Thai menu. Consistently good. Wide range of Thai cuisine. Wish the bar had craft beer on tap (now just limited selection of bottled beer).

While visiting this charming town we decided on Thai for lunch. The server was friendly and our dishes arrived promptly. Both dishes were plentiful, we took some home for the next day. However, my husband erred in ordering his dish hot so it was a little too spicy even for him. Our server refilled our water glasses which was a... More

Been to Thai Spice numerous times over the years and had loved it. Not so much tonight. Was told of a change in ownership and that the same chef was in back. NOT. Not even close. Curry's were NOT RIGHT. Veggies in the curries were NOT RIGHT. So disappointed. Missed the kind, calm, considerate, thoughtful, caring waitstaff, as well. Maybe... More

My husband & I dined at the Thai Spice almost weekly until everything changed. We loved it there and then the new owner made changes including wait staff replacement and most of all a new chef. We never saw the previous or new chef; but can just tell by the quality and flavor of the dinners that this is not... More

We love Thai food and tried this place to see how it compared to other Thai restaurants we have loved. The atmosphere was not great; very open and austere, but the food more than made up for the surroundings. Service was very good and efficient; didn't have to wait long for our food. We tried the spring rolls for app;... More

When Thai Spice opened, we were delighted to have a Thai restaurant in the area. Under the original owners, the menu was extensive, authentic and the fare was delicious!!! We became regulars. Since the change in ownership, we have dined there twice, longing for good Thai food. Sadly, dishes we had regularly eaten before just are not of the same... More

I moved to the Waynesville area three years ago and was so happy to find an excellent Thai Restaurant in the area. While Asheville has excellent Thai restaurants, the drive is long and Thai Spice was excellent. I say "was" as I now find that the restaurant has been sold and the chef appears to have changed as well. I... More

I have come here several times over the last few months, and have tried different items each time. The wait staff is always attentive and friendly, seating myself and my friends when they come quickly. They give you enough time to browse the menu and are willing to offer up suggestions as to what to try on the menu. My... More
