Loved the charm of this restaurant. Poppy seed muffins and apricot tea were absolutely delicious. The roasted red pepper soup was very tasty as was the smokehouse turkey sandwhich. My mother really enjoyed the champ panini and pasta salad. Service was somewhat slow. My main advice is to steer clear of the Tuscany panini. It was stack of thick, chewy... More

Anne and her people serve one the best lunches in town. Real Tea, real food. But those little muffins she serves with lunch are addictive! Staff very pleasant and attentive, service is usually quick, but can get a little backed up during the crazy lunch time. No big deal tho, it's worth an extra few minutes. The variety will meet... I used to love this place. The food was great, especially the quiches of the day. However, every visit I leave a little more disappointed then the last. The place has an "old" smell and isn't very well kept or cleaned anymore. Today, I picked rotting lettuce out of my salad. We also waited over 15 mins until a waitress... More

Today may have been an "off day". We've had lunch here before and it was better. Service was terrible. We had to request the menus, more drinks, food came late. Food was ok.

Patio setting looking at the water front is great. Patio needs upkeep. Food is average service fair.

You start with the Poppy seed muffins served for lunch to the inventive menu. A choice of daily specials include a soup, salad, quiche and sandwich as well as the regular menu. I had the quiche special and salad. My wife enjoyed the soup and sandwich special. Great food and service.

The food is always excellent unfortunately the specials are very often unavailable. The poppy seed muffins are to die for. Ann and her staff are always friendly and helpful. The sandwiches and soups are always fresh.

The Meeting Place is a very pleasant lunch spot with good food and friendly service. I eat there often and have never had a bad experience. It is a popular place, so it can be crowded at times, but the wait staff is attentive and efficient. It is one of the best places in town for a sandwich or salad.

Just OK. Try real hard, food tastes OK. Only open for breatfast and lunch and never sure of hours or days of operation.

I recently took a friend who lives in Williamston with me to "The Meeting Place" for lunch. We certainly had other options in Washington, Williamston, and Greenville but I wanted to take her there because I had liked their food and atmosphere the times I had been there before and thought she would like it. It was not a good... More
