We ate on the patio overlooking the sound. Good food, wonderful view, good service. Sat at the bar for a very short wait time on a Friday night. They were out of oyster that night but it was later in the evening. I would go back again.

Joined a party of 6, always tough on the waitstaff. Quick and very pleasant attitude. Seafood platter was an exceptional value. Fresh selection a local seafood well presented and properly cooked. The restaurant offers a variety of seating options from patio to oyster bar and semi-upscale dining room. You might expect a moderate wait for a table on event evenings.... More

Our favorite restaurant in Washington. It has a great oyster bar with pub tables for families. Separate restaurant for more intimate dining experience. Known for their seafood. They serve NC Shrimp and have oysters year around. Water views from their patio dining. A great choice for meeting family and friends.

The view of the water from the patio is great. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. I knew before going there my choices would be limited since I'm vegan, but my spouse wanted to have lunch on the water. I had planned on just getting their salad bar, but the salad bar was pretty pathetic. I ended up getting... More

Considering there are limited fine dining options in Washington, one would expect that the food here would be excellent like the view and atmosphere of the restaurant is. The food is horrible. The crab dip I ordered was stuck in one big lump and cold. The bread was stale and the fried onion rings fell apart into a greasy mess.... More

We sat outside on the patio for a late Sunday lunch--five of us. The water view was beautiful--the best part of the meal. We had a super nice waitress. So, the hamburger that I ordered medium came very well-done and very dry and barely warm, as were the fries. I was disappointed that they couldn't get a $10 burger right--or... More

Sat on the porch overlooking the river -- very enjoyable. Entrees were quite good, excellent seafood choices. Three different inside seating choices, including an oyster bar.

Sat outside right off the water. Very nice view. Service good. But fried shrimp were terrible. Tasted like precooked. Tough and batter very hard. Scallops also too fried. May try again and hope for fresh seafood.

I have been to this restaurant several times, the last being on the fourth of July. The food has been wonderful from the steaks to the shrimp and grits. The waitressess and bar staff are friendly. Would recommend to family and friends

From start to finish this place was a disaster. Seated outside on a hot Summer day (our request) the iron table was embedded with human hair. Waitress seemed unphased. Ordered crab dip. Would have been decent if it wasn't tinged with the flavor of low tide. Fried captains platter was oddly small and flavorless. Really just an awful dining experience.... More
