A treat in Little Washington!

The Bank Bistro was a lovely treat. The food was excellent and the wait staff was attentive. We enjoyed our food and experience very much and would highly recommend The Bank!

The Bank .... was there for appetizers which I thoroughly enjoyed. Will need to return for dinner. Bistro atmosphere in high ceiling historic building. You walk through the open eating area which leads directly to the bar which surrounds the bank vault.

My husband and I dined here for a Friday night supper after a hard workday. The meal is prefaced with soft, warm bread and yummy honey butter. Pork chop was extremely flavorful and cooked to perfection. So juicy and tender with an amazing sauce! Portion size great as I had leftovers when I typically do not. Entrees come with a... More

I have been here three times. Once for a meal and twice for dessert and coffee. This is a restaurant is the traditional sense. The menu is limited but the entrees are well selected and well prepared. I look forward to dining there again soon.

We stopped in on a Friday evening for dinner while passing through town. The service was great. Our server was very attentive, very polite, and we enjoyed speaking with him. I had the crab cakes, which were excellent, along with a salad and roasted carrots. My wife had a ribeye steak, which was probably about 70% fat, and only 30%... More

Loved the old bank building. Waited over hour for food. Sword fish was very good, my husbands steak was not good. We enjoyed the beer selections. I had made reservations and stated it was my husbands birthday. Waiter was not informed and I had to remind him- he brought my husband chocolate truffles and a bowl of kosher salt in... More

Great drinks and apps. Good bartender, music, environment. Definitely worth the trip if not from Washington. The bar on the vault is a vary cool touch.

Quite quaint setting, with a creative menu, fair prices, and well prepared food. This was a former bank and is worth the trip just to see how the interior was reinvented. Not my favorite place in the area, but I am in the minority. Others feel this is one of the go to places in the area.

Drinks & appetizer ( Fried Green Tomato Bites) were awesome! Hubby's ribeye had great flavor, cooked perfect but was very thin & stringy. My crabcakes were good, not crazy about the sauce with them. Our sides asparagus , uncooked & garlic mashed potatoes were bland. Overall, not a bad experience. Just OK not to die for😉

I love little Washington and often choose to drive the extra miles from Greenville to dine on the waterfront, I had been impressed by the Banks wine and app selection and choose to have my graduation dinner there. It was a real disappointment, although I had made the reservation two weeks in advance they did not have my name when... More
