It's Worth A Visit

Quite quaint setting, with a creative menu, fair prices, and well prepared food. This was a former bank and is worth the trip just to see how the interior was reinvented. Not my favorite place in the area, but I am in the minority. Others feel this is one of the go to places in the area.

We stopped in on a Friday evening for dinner while passing through town. The service was great. Our server was very attentive, very polite, and we enjoyed speaking with him. I had the crab cakes, which were excellent, along with a salad and roasted carrots. My wife had a ribeye steak, which was probably about 70% fat, and only 30%... More

Loved the old bank building. Waited over hour for food. Sword fish was very good, my husbands steak was not good. We enjoyed the beer selections. I had made reservations and stated it was my husbands birthday. Waiter was not informed and I had to remind him- he brought my husband chocolate truffles and a bowl of kosher salt in... More

Great drinks and apps. Good bartender, music, environment. Definitely worth the trip if not from Washington. The bar on the vault is a vary cool touch.

Drinks & appetizer ( Fried Green Tomato Bites) were awesome! Hubby's ribeye had great flavor, cooked perfect but was very thin & stringy. My crabcakes were good, not crazy about the sauce with them. Our sides asparagus , uncooked & garlic mashed potatoes were bland. Overall, not a bad experience. Just OK not to die for😉

I love little Washington and often choose to drive the extra miles from Greenville to dine on the waterfront, I had been impressed by the Banks wine and app selection and choose to have my graduation dinner there. It was a real disappointment, although I had made the reservation two weeks in advance they did not have my name when... More

As far as I'm concerned, this is the best restaurant in Washington. I knew I was in good hands when I watched the bartender chill my martini glass...not everyone maintains that level of attention to detail. Great menu. Enjoyable keyboardist playing the sound track of my life.

The chef really needs to see what a Prime Rib looks like. This resembled something that was run over by a logging truck. Tasty but thin and lots and lots of fat. It may be on the Prime Rib just don't serve it to the customer that way. Greek pasta very good but was not served with "crostini" just toasted... More

We ate here on a Friday night...very popular restaurant, lots of local folks. I had the burger with balsamic sauce, my husband had the vegetarian pasta. Both were excellent..one of the best burgers I've ever had. We returned on Saturday night and were both disappointed. The Mahi Mahi special was overcooked and way too salty, as were the mashed potatoes.... More

My wife and I were finally able to have a date night. Life can be so busy, but we were fortunate to get away. I have a friend that is a waitress here and I was supposed to go here about a year ago for a Christmas party. The Salmon sounded awesome and I have wanted to have it for... More
