We always try to stop in at Oneals whenever we are in the OBX. Great fresh seafood at reasonable prices. A great selection of fresh seafood items and sides. The fried Okra is awesome. It is off the beaten path but definitely worth the drive. One of my favorite spots!

A great little spot in Wanchese. The food is as fresh as can be since they also sell seafood fresh off the boats there too. The fried seafood is lightly breaded so you taste the delicious seafood not just breading. The portions are generous and the prices extremely reasonable. The kitchen is open until about 3:30 pm or so but... More

Drove a bit out of our way to find O'Neal's on the recommendation of a NC local, Through a neighborhood and into an industrial park, we found the unassuming little restaurant, which is part of O'Neal's seafood market. The first thing I noticed was that it DID NOT smell fishy, a true sign of FRESH seafood. My husband and I... More

This is the real deal. Located in the North Carolina seafood industrial park, it is all about fresh and frozen local seafood. And oh by the way Iif you want lunch they have some great offerings. It's soft shell crab season and the soft shell BLT at $7.50 is a steal of a deal. Want a Calabash style shrimp basket,... More

O'neal's certainly isn't fancy, but it does offer fresh local seafood and a fair price. It's located in an industrial dock area, so your eating next to the commercial fishing docks and the ship repair yards. The seafood is all local, I asked where the food was from and got the reply that all the fish and she'll fish was... More

The O'Neal's Sea Harvest is a seafood market and restaurant located in the industrial area of the Wanches harbor. It is not necessarily in a convenient location for tourism, but is still close enough to the beach where you can venture to without taking away too much time from your day. You can go here to either purchase seafood recently... More

Visited a few months back for the first time but forgot to put in a review so here goes. I found Oneal's to be an extremely friendly and hospitable place for a great lunch. The food was excellent and the price was just right. You must try the oysters which were to die for.

Our seafood baskets had fresh tasting seafood but I was disappointed with the portion size. It was only the bounty of fries that kept me from leaving hungry. Wish the offered different size baskets or platters. Today's catch was mahi mahi which was lightly battered and cooked to perfection. The special was sautéed shrimp with spinach and red onion on... This place is pure, no-frills seafood perfection. Place your order, drop off your ticket at the window, and wait for your number to be called. You eat inside a seafood market that doesn't smell like fish -- that's how fresh it is. None of the fried selections are greasy (unlike many other places). Try the fried okra or the crispy... More
