This is the best place to pick up great fresh seafood in the Outer Banks. We went there twice during the week and picked up the best tasting scallops, live soft-shell crabs, and fish! Always see a big crowd for the food. It is worth the drive for the quality and the price.

This is an awesome little fish market that is probably 15 minutes from the south end of Nags Head. You order your lunch at a counter and pick it up. There are tables inside and outside. There is no ambiance or atmosphere. You are in a fish market! If you have kids, there are plenty of dry dock boats to... More

Love this place! Super fresh seafood, interesting mix of patrons, casual lunch choice. They stay very busy, and I can see why.

First time in the place .. It is near a shipbuilding company in the little village of Wanchese. Only were serving during lunch hours - which was OK for us. We had great okra & french fries for sides with a fried basket " catch of the day" of Tilefish & soft crab sandwich - both were deep fried and... More

Wow! What a find. If you are ever in the OBX you have to cross the bridge to Manteo and turn left to the town of Wanchese. It's impossible to get lost. It's that small. This seafood market/restaurant is great. The seafood is the freshest that you will ever find. The restaurant is small, seat yourself but the food is... More

We had a great lunch at O'Neals. The seafood is so fresh it's still almost wet. A great crabcake sandwich with no detectable filler. Family even had sheepshead fillets that were delicious. Only drawback: it's only open for lunch, albeit a very extended one.

We always try to stop in at Oneals whenever we are in the OBX. Great fresh seafood at reasonable prices. A great selection of fresh seafood items and sides. The fried Okra is awesome. It is off the beaten path but definitely worth the drive. One of my favorite spots!

A great little spot in Wanchese. The food is as fresh as can be since they also sell seafood fresh off the boats there too. The fried seafood is lightly breaded so you taste the delicious seafood not just breading. The portions are generous and the prices extremely reasonable. The kitchen is open until about 3:30 pm or so but... More

Drove a bit out of our way to find O'Neal's on the recommendation of a NC local, Through a neighborhood and into an industrial park, we found the unassuming little restaurant, which is part of O'Neal's seafood market. The first thing I noticed was that it DID NOT smell fishy, a true sign of FRESH seafood. My husband and I... More

This is the real deal. Located in the North Carolina seafood industrial park, it is all about fresh and frozen local seafood. And oh by the way Iif you want lunch they have some great offerings. It's soft shell crab season and the soft shell BLT at $7.50 is a steal of a deal. Want a Calabash style shrimp basket,... More
