We are a Mennonite-owned and run bakery and restaurant serving breakfast and lunch. We are well-known locally for our bread, cinnamon rolls and amazing 1-inch tall slices of French toast made with our home-made bread and served with our own butter syrup. We serve home-style foods like eggs, pancakes and biscuits for breakfast, with sandwiches, salads and a daily special for lunch. Saturday's are especially busy with long waits. Groups of over five diners can expect the longest wait. Due to our limited dining area we do not take reservations on Saturdays or over holidays. Hope to see you soon!

Excellent service and very friendly oweners

We visited on a Saturday around 9:30am and the wait was 1.5 hours long. My advice if you wanted to get a table quicker, is to come here very early or during the week (at around 10:00am the wait was 2.5 hours). While you wait, you can walk outside for some fresh air and look at the livestock or... read more

What can I say? I live about 30 minutes away. Was introduced to this very cool place by a friend. Have eaten breakfast here several times. (Yup. Always get the french toast, which is made with HOMEMADE bread and their heavenly butter syrup.) Can't say enough about how yummy THAT is. Today, was doing some shopping, and wanted to see... More

Some of the best food I've ever had. Ordered the pancakes and daughter got the French toast. We all but had to be rolled out we were so stuffed and were able to take a ton home to-go. Amazing place and super friendly staff.

Very disappointed. It had been years since my last visit. Had several people tell me lately how good it was. Had to wait an hour and fifteen minutes to be seated. Service was slow and not very friendly. Food was not more than average. Prices were very reasonable.

Josh, I am SO VERY SORRY about your terrible experience at our kitchen. We were unaware of your problem and make every effort to correct the situation at once. It truly makes me so sad to know that someone came and left unhappy. We rarely have a wait time during the week unless it's a holiday or school is out.... More

I can't say enough about this restaurant! The most amazing people and great tasting food! It is a low key country setting with a home town feel! If visiting on a weekend be prepared to wait. On a plus side you will realize that the wait was worth your while! Plus it gives you a reason to try one of... More

Great breakfast! Worth getting up early for! But be sure you are there when they open. Very tiny restaurant and getting there even 15 minutes past "opening time" and you've got yourself a 30-45 minute wait! Also: French Toast is a MUST!

Kayla, Thank you so much for leaving a review! I'm assuming you were here on a Saturday, our busiest day. We try to do our best with the limited seating and appreciate you coming out and your patience. If you ever get a chance to come during the week there is rarely a wait. :-) Hope to see you again! I can't say it enough about this restaurant. It is like getting a home cooked meal with only the freshest ingredients around! The wait is worth the meal itself, not to mention the home baked goods that you could snack on while you wait! The staff makes you feel like family!

Lots of food fairly quickly, inexpensive. Food is always fresh and tasty. You need to try the French toast with the butter syrup at least once.
