Description: We are a Mennonite-owned and run bakery and restaurant serving breakfast...
We are a Mennonite-owned and run bakery and restaurant serving breakfast and lunch. We are well-known locally for our bread, cinnamon rolls and amazing 1-inch tall slices of French toast made with our home-made bread and served with our own butter syrup. We serve home-style foods like eggs, pancakes and biscuits for breakfast, with sandwiches, salads and a daily special for lunch. Saturday's are especially busy with long waits. Groups of over five diners can expect the longest wait. Due to our limited dining area we do not take reservations on Saturday. During the week there rarely is a wait. Hope to see you soon!

Have heard about this place for some time. Finally tried and it already planning on going back. Many selections to choose from for breakfast and I think I had most of them this morning. Enjoyed walking around the store while waiting for a table. Make sure you aren't in a hurry because the seating area is limited, but worth the... More

Thanks for taking the time to visit us and posting a review. It's so great to read reviews from our wonderful guests! During the week the dining room is relatively quiet and rarely full. Saturdays and holidays we fill to overflowing and yes, the wait can be quite long. Hope to see you again soon! More

I live about 25min away in Winterville and I have been to Yoder's about 20 times. And there is a reason...it is the best breakfast you will ever eat. Your typical breakfast food but you go for the french toast and apple butter syrup. With that said there are a bunch of other things there that you have to try...her... More

People have been telling us for years we need to try Yoder's and we finally made the trip out there and it was well worth it! The food was absolutely delicious and did not take long to come out of the kitchen once the order was placed. The prices were also very, very reasonable! We were expecting to have to... More

This place is the best place to have breakfast! It is well worth the wait. In addition to breakfast they have some of the best baked goods we ever had! A must try!

I was prepared for a wait, but an hour and a half later we were seated. Did some shopping in the adjacent store and now know they sell cheese curds in Craven County. The bakery was selling lots of pastries and I think that's the way to go next time.

An unplanned day trip to eastern North Carolina resulted in a most welcome discovery in Vanceboro. Located equi-distance from Raleigh to the OBX, Yoder's Dutch Pantry is just fantastic. Breakfast selections were plentiful and delicious. Since the only egg dishes I like are either scrambled or omelettes, I am used to many restaurants that use liquid eggs. Palatable, but certainly... My son's and I visited for an end of the school year treat. Absolutely loved our experience. We chose a Monday to visit due to the large crowds on Saturday. We had prompt service and our waitress was very friendly. My boys loved it and are already planning our next trip back and what they want to try.
