We are at the Caro Mi last weekend and found it to be pretty good. We had country ham, flounder and mahi mahi. All was prepared well and delivered fairly quickly. It had been quite some time since we had eaten there but it was as good as we remembered it. The slaw is a little funky, but that is... More

I discovered Caro-Mi over 2 decades ago. Went back a few months ago so my husband could experience it. LOVED the food...totally loved that it is served family style, not indiviual plates like a typical restaurant.

I have been going to caro-mi for over fifty years. They have always been a great place for family style eating. I love there ham, although my son and daughter insist on the trout when they are in town visiting. The owners have changed over the years, but all have been very friendly. The Staffords have continued this tradition. Highly... More

They have the best rainbow trout! The slaw is like none other (if you like the Germany taste) Love the atmosphere...so relaxing.

My daughter and I stopped here for dinner after a day of hiking, because there were so many cars there, it had to be good...located on a site with a covered bridge over a mountain stream, and a porch furnished with rocking chairs for those waiting, I wanted to wait longer, it was so charming. The owners were pleasant and... More

I love the Caro-mi it's one of the most unique and charming places around. Everyone I have ever taken there has loved it and gone back again and again. I'm a country ham girl and the slaw and macaroni salad as appetizers are top grade. If you don't like southern cooking please don't bother to come , but if ham... More

A real treat when we make the trek to Caro-Mi Lodge. We have always enjoyed our food. The country ham is my husbands favorite and I love their trout. The sides are always prepared southern style with the slaw being a little 'different'.

Dinner at Caro-Mi was very good last Saturday night. The restaurant is open Wed-Sat only. Times are on their website as is their menu. The menu is very heavy on fish. Fried chicken, chicken tenders and ham are available. Sides are served family style and you can get refills on the sides. Green beans, macaroni salad, cooked apples. Baked potato... More

We ate dinner here recently. We had eaten here years and years ago. We ordered rainbow trout, cold boiled shrimp and fried shrimp. The rainbow trout was quite good but was doused in a almondine butter - really almost ruined the fish. My son ordered cold boiled shrimp and got 8 pieces of shrimp for $17. This is a unique... More
