Don't let the rather basic furnishings put you off. This restaurant is popular because the pizzas are good and at a reasonable cost. They also do a thriving take out business.

We love to visit Side Street when we are in town. The pizza and sandwiches are great. The building and atmosphere is unique but that makes it cool. Next time you are near Tryon, stop in for a big pie. You won't regret it.

Everyone in town lovesssssssssss this restaurant. It's good, but a little overhyped and overpriced. Yummy Italian food but not worth the crazy wait for dinner on the weekend! Service is always just OK. Get there early or come for lunch.

we stopped late Sunday night, they are open until 9. This was my first time. Very groovy atmosphere, kind of a built on, built on and then bulit on some more kinda place. The service was very good, nice and helpful, now the food. We split the antipasto salad, it was big enough for Four! Very tasty. We ordered a... More

I can see why this place is ranked number 1. My lasagna was very good and their bread sticks that came with the meal were awesome. They were so good I ordered their appetizer and we had some marinara sauce and bread sticks to bring back to the cabin to eat later. However, their parking lot is a disaster. It's... More

We were on our anniversary and didn't know anything about the area so we just stopped in for supper. When we first got there I was kinda thinking it was a bar, almost didn't go in. We went in and food and service was excellent. The sweet tea is amazing.

A very good place to have pizza, it is delicious. I go there quite often for lunch and have their small pizza. Have had their subs too, and they are very good. I like to meet friends and family there and have never had to wait very long. Their menu is quite varied and has something for everyone's likes.

For a fairly busy business, they're horrible at keeping anything organised. Leaves a lot to desire. At a moderately busy time, my parties name got "lost in the shuffle" although I watched the host write it down on the paper. The wait was too long and I was told I'd have to wait longer, while I watched people that arrived... More

Have been to "Side Street" many times. Have never been disappointed by food. Pizza, pasta dishes or sandwiches. All are great. Best in the Tryon area by far. Very rustic setting. Parking always a premium when open. You can now book a table online for that special "I am cutting line" feeling.

Looking for pizza in Tryon, NC go to Sidestreet Pizza & Pasta. (If you have to wait for a table or booth it's worth the wait.) We just happen on this restaurant while visiting Tryon and what a find it is. Their menu offers something for everyone. The service could not have been better. I believe our waitress had 9... More
