Looking for pizza in Tryon, NC go to Sidestreet Pizza & Pasta. (If you have to wait for a table or booth it's worth the wait.) We just happen on this restaurant while visiting Tryon and what a find it is. Their menu offers something for everyone. The service could not have been better. I believe our waitress had 9... More

While touring Tryon, we had dinner at, Sidestreet Pizza & Pasta, a pasta and pizza palace. It was our first time at this eatery, as it was for some friends of ours. There was a wait and being that it seemed to be a very popular place and a Saturday night, we did have a bit of a wait. Rather... More

My husband and I wanted pizza after a day at a barbecue festival just for a change of pace, and discovered this restaurant while looking for another we had actually found on Google. What a lucky find for us, it was well with the 30 minute wait on a busy Saturday evening for a table. The house salads were large... More

Busy, reasonably priced fare. Large well trained staff keeps customers with drink and food as expected. Food is well above what one normally expects in a small town.

I had moved away from the area about 9 years ago but remembered this place and I am soo glad I did. The wait staff was friendly, and suggested we go to the smaller bar area to get a table with no wait times. That was a perfect idea! The food came out quickly, and tasted wonderful. The atmosphere was... More

I visit the Carolinas twice yearly - in the Spring for dogwood and azaleas and in the Fall for the leaves. New England is beautiful, but so are the Carolinas! I always go to Sidestreet at least once on my trip home. My sister always has the salmon with bowtie pasta and it is scrumptious. I always have the same... More

Friendly atmosphere and staff, terrific wings and pizza! There was a nice selection of beer, including a number of local brews. There would have been a wait for a table on a Saturday night but the small bar was the perfect choice. I would certainly head back again when in the area.

We always enjoy the opportunity to come up to Tryon to eat at Sidestreet. After reading several reviews of " disappointed" patrons I came to the conclusion that pizza comparisons are silly. Comparing New York style to Chicago style and so forth is like apples and oranges. If I want NY style or Chicago style pies I know where to... More

This 'Stealers' Bar' is very friendly and attentive if you sit at the bar. The food is in need of some real attention as it is as average and uninteresting as you can find. I am amazed at the TA reviews that say this place serves 'excellent Italian food' when I find it on a par with Sbaro which adorns... More

We love having lunch or dinner at Sidestreet Pizza and Pasta because they serve excellent Italian food at reasonable prices for families. Their pizzas are not only tasty but larger than their competitor in town. You will have to wait for seating at dinner on Friday, Saturday or Sunday if you do not have a reservation.
