I'm from NY, I know good pizza and no one can make a margarita pizza as good as this place, and the bread they serve is wonderful. Stop by and see for yourself.

WOW, I have heard nothing but great comments about this Italian Bistro and all were right on! Small and cozy, only a few tables but there is always take out. The pizzas are wood or coal fired, thin and crisp with a variety of gourmet or just plain topping pizzas. The spaghetti with meat sauce out of this world and... More

We live in the area and have eaten at "the Trat" roughly 15 times over the past 4 years to very mixed results. The food ranges from good to bad; the service is indifferent. The review by Lauren M is very similar to our experiences there. The biggest problem is that there are very few, and mostly mediocre at best,... More

We stopped in for lunch and had the specials. I had wonderful lasagna and my husband had a cheese steak sandwich. We both enjoyed our selections!, but I think he was envious of mine. Served with a fresh tasty salad. And they were open to my suggestion of less salt! Friendly folks, too, at this river side place. Oh, and... More

We wanted white pizza made with olive oil. Two of the welcome centers suggested Trattoria so we decided to try it. The salad for two fed three. The large white pizza was perfect with crispy outside and soft inside crust and three cheeses with plenty of ricotta. Two of us had pizza while the other had the chicken cacciatore sandwich... More

This is a very small place with very good Italian food. we had seafood linguini and it was wonderful. The garlic bread was also hot and fresh. we had very good service. The place is a little noisy but worth the cost and a little noise. Good menu.

We stopped by Trattoria last Thursday evening because of yelp. It's possible we came on an off-night, but we were pretty disappointed with our experience. The place seemed really nice upon entering- great view, small but cozy dining area, and it was pretty empty. A young man brought us a really good bread with dipping oil shortly after telling us... When the owner cooks the food is great but when the kids cook not so much. There is a big difference. Service is some times slow. The place is small and seems crowded at times. The owner is very nice and we wish he would either cook more or watch his staff closer.

The choice of pizzas is very impressive, and the food is very good. The staff is nice. The only reason they do not get five stars is the small size of the main room, which gives it a slightly cramped atmosphere.

Cool location. Food was just ok. Nothing to go back for. I have friends that love it though. The pizza was good, but don't recommend any of the dishes that contain the fried eggplant.
