Fantastic Italian dining on the Crystal Coast

This was my second time eating here. The first time was take-out pizza, which was delicious, but this was my first time dining in. My wife and I chose to sit outside to enjoy the view and breeze, and we were delighted with the entire experience. The staff were very friendly and made us feel very... read more

It's all about the bread! Whether it's the rolls, the subs, the stromboli, or the pizza. It's homemade, and it's delicious. We have never had a bad meal there--we've had meals we haven't ordered, but we even enjoyed the mistaken order. Not much room, not much atmosphere, but excellent food.

We have eaten many times here. Food is decent. Service staff gets overwhelmed sometimes - feels like they are consistently short-staffed. The pizzas are good, as are the entrees. The place is not pretty - at all. but I can understand that some places just aren't about decor. My biggest pet peeve is the kind of olive oil they bring... More

Our family brought us here when we were visiting from out of state. What an incredible dinner. We had to wait about 30 min for a tables because there was about 10 of us but we were expecting that. We could have chosen to call ahead but that was our choice, nothing against the staff. We were accommodated the best... More

We went with my daughter and her husband and father-in-law to eat. All of us ordered the special which was seafood paella over saffron rice. We are currently eating grain free so I requested my seafood be served over a side of broccoli instead of rice, my husband got his over spinach. Well...I don't think the kitchen quite understood what... More

Love this place. I grew up in Swansboro and remember this building as a small grocery store that was was run by the Hurst brothers. Lot's of great memories. The food is delicious and there is a large variety of wonderful dishes to try. I also like the fact that they will take reservations, which is a huge plus in... More

Fun Family Pizza Dinner. Small place, friendly service & GREAT PIZZA. Just a simple solid choice to enjoy a few beers & have a great pizza. I have heard other dishes are very good. Staff had a wait, but set us up quickly on the patio out front & we enjoyed a great thunderstorm that passed over while dining. Sat... More

I give this an "average" rating but it wasn't the pizza's fault, very tasty, thin crust as I like, fresh toppings, but took quite a while for a pie. This generally is no problem but I had to hunt down a waiter for beer refills more than once. However, the service when available was friendly. Also I noticed some very... More

Frequented by locals this is a real find. On the water, near a monument, great view, wide selection of yummy dishes and the pizza was delicious. Wait staff was helpful and attentive. Not a big place, but great atmosphere as you enjoy your meal. Be warned, if you get a pasta dish it is huge! It would be easy to... More
