We tried this restaurant for brunch. I had breakfast and my husband had a sandwich. The blueberry pancake was OK, but nothing special. My husband had a sandwich that looked like something you would put together in your own kitchen - no frills. The service was good and I would probably go back again. I love country cooking, but I... Our group of 6 had breakfast here a couple of weeks ago. We all agreed that the food was good, service attentive but not obtrusive, and of course the prices were right. Menu was good basic southern breakfast items, i.e. eggs, meats, potatoes, grits, pancakes, French toast. We've also been here several times previously for dinner, and thoroughly enjoyed it... More

Scallops looked and tasted like imitation, soft shells were mushy and tasteless, I suspect previously frozen. Veggies were like school cafeteria. The clam chowder had grease floating on top. One good point... the hush puppies. BTW, whoever heard of no fresh lemon at a seafood place???

Good service and breakfast. Friendly service. Hash browns tasted from a bag. Good clean breakfast stop.

Our family made a return trip to Baston's Galley and we are so glad we did! At our table we had shrimp, clams, oysters, and people eating chicken, grilled chicken, and a burger. Everyone had a great meal! Make sure you get the hush puppies! We will be back!!!

Service was fantastic and the food was tasty! They accommodated our food allergies and were very helpful. We would come back.

I've eaten at Batson's before for dinner and was not thrilled, but the breakfast is great and reasonably priced. From my first experience, I remembered that they were a little on the pricey side but that the hush-puppies were fantastic. We hadn't planned on dining there this time, but were told that the breakfast was good and a good price... More

My wife and I ate here on Saturday May 24 2014 and it was awful. We both ordered Filet of Flounder. Prices way to high for the quality. My wife's flounder was full of bones big and small, The Flounder was tasteless, the tarter sauce was nasty. And on top of that we both got sick. Most everyone seemed unhappy,... More

We come here each year and have enjoyed it. Not this time. We just arrived for a week long vacation and we made this our 1st stop for dining out. We were a little shocked at the prices but went ahead and ordered our meal.We waited for a very long time for our meal to come out. Considering the price... More
