Nice view of the beach and pier

Some friends and I decided to check this place out for dinner when finishing at the beach. It was close and something new for us all to try. There was a long wait when we got there, which was to be expected, as it was dinner time and everyone was coming off the beach. The hostess told us our... read more

View is amazing. Right on the beach. Wild animals (Opossum was literally crawling on my feet.) Scared the sh$# out of meee. Been several times and food was terrible every time. Could not chew the shrimp because they were so tough. How hard is it to put shrimp in boiling water until they turn pink. If you can't cook shrimp,... More

This was a perfect place to grab food while at the beach. Got a take out order & took it back to my beach chair. The food was good and the service was great!

Where do I even start? This place must have been seriously understaffed because it took almost 15-20 minutes to even get acknowledged by the server. We finally get our drinks and then order. Three people in our party got salads...two house salads and one caesar with chicken. When we received the food, nearly an hour later, the house salads were... More

First of all, the name is totally wrong. If everything on the menu is either steamed or fried, it is NOT an oyster bar. The clam strips and calamari apps were frozen, not fresh, and over cooked. The bottled beer were cool at best, and in a place with no air conditioning on a 95 degree day, not refreshing. We... More

We're locals and try to support local businesses, both in-season and off-season. When visitors come to town, Buddy's is a traditional first-stop! We stopped in for a late lunch yesterday and were happy to see a new menu. I immediately zoned in on fish tacos - one of my favorite lunch items(!) and ordered them. What a disappointment. My fish... We had a very nice lunch here. Fresh shrimp was awesome. Prices were a little high but it is right on the beach and we were able to sit outside and enjoy our lunch with a few beers with a wonderful view.

The place was ran by a staff of kids. It's a bar with a limited menu. My advice is to get a beer and a sandwich at a gas station instead. The food was totally devoid of flavor. Fish sandwich on a dry, undersized bun for the price. The fish was a long strip of dry fish that I had... More

The food was very good and you can't beat the views. If your looking for a high class restaurant, this is not for you. If your looking for good food, attentive waitress, and a relaxing setting on the beach... this is it. Our waitress, Dominique, was very friendly and highly attentive to our requests. We will be back again.

The deck was nice, but our fries came to us cold. They were out of slaw, which was a third of 3 at our tables meal, and were not offered any replacement, still charged full price for less food. Waitress did not ask women about refills just the guys another beer. Not going back, and we all live here. Was... More
