Cash only. - expensive

I guess a DQ can charge whatever people are willing to pay. I paid 12 something for a small and large Blizzard. I was shocked. The ice cream was amazing, especially the S'mores blizzard.

Service is poor. Often cash only. Quality of the ice cream is what is expected at a DQ. Management needs to work on the quality of their service.

We went here yesterday. They only take cash and they charge double the standard Dq price! A peanut buster parfait is almost 7 $ yikes(last year we got one and is was so salty my husband couldn't finish it & peanut buster parfait are his favorite). I was happy to see they now offer sf orange cream bars and sf... More

We ordered a milkshake from here the other night. It was terrible. The place is small and looks dirty. We would not return.

It's Dairy Queen, so there's not much debating the soft serve ice cream quality. The Surf City Dairy Queen is in a high-visibility spot off the main drag. As a consequence, most tourists are drawn to this spot during the evening like moths to a flame. Be prepared to wait in a long line from outside to inside the store,... More

How can you go wrong with Dairy Queen? We ordered 4 different flavors and shared. Conveniently located and great as always after a hot fun filled day.

When 2 small blizzards and 1 mini blizzard cost $14.95 it is time to find another place to purchase ice cream. We will never return and will spread the word. Definately not family nor tourist friendly.

Good ice cream and banana splits, but Paula is a little high on her prices...good atmosphere, she has a time with keeping help, don't know why..some are friendlier than others. Never tried burgers and such

I love to visit this Dairy Queen when my taste buds are asking for ice cream. There are lots of different choices to choose from that it makes it hard to decide what you really want. We had great service when we visited and the cream was delicious. I have not tried the hotdogs but plan to do so the... More

Going to a franchise is supposed to ensure consistency in the product and service, and this Dairy Queen fails the franchise. On the day we went in, they said they were out of mini Blizzard cups, conveniently requiring us to purchase the next size up. Then I watched as the server barely put enough berry syrup in our Triple Berry... More
