The food is EXCELLENT! We were a party of 7. Between all of us, we had onion rings, fried green tomatoes, plantains, fried shrimp, coconut crab soup, a spinach salad, cheese burgers, seafood platter, and flounder. With the exception of the spinach salad (the spinach tasted off), the food was absolutely delicious. The ambiance on the patio was pleasant and... More

The service over the last year has gone downhill. Rude, rude, rude. I've been enjoying Sears Landing for many many years and after multiple bad experiences we just can't go back. We were treated like we were an inconvenience and the food quality has gone down as well. Very disappointed.

This restaurant was not good at all!!!!!! First of all as soon as I sat down there was a very unpleasant smell that bothered me very much. And my samwich was made with proccesed American cheese. The waiter was okay. I would not recommend this restaurant.

I have eaten here twice August 2013 and April 2014. They have an outside porch with a view of the water and chairs out there. There was quite a wait. There is also a bar on the porch open in good weather. The food, is well, just ok. It is a little greasy and I ordered soft shell crab which... More

Nice job Sears for the new booths and landscaping. I'm sorry the landscaping caused you to lose parking spaces. Your food is what we expect and the outside seating is the best in the area. Every time we visit it seems as if the service is not attentive. There are many servers who visit our table and don't know what... More

We have been coming to TI for years now, and we always go to Sears for at least one meal. We have never had poor service, they are always friendly, and the food cooked perfectly. We went there today, April 3, there were six in our party. We have learned to go for late lunch or early dinner. We had... More

We'd eaten and given a review for Batson's Galley in Surf City where we enjoyed a great seafood meal a few days ago. Checking with Tripadvisor, we noticed that this restaurant was listed as highly, so ate there last night. Boy! What a difference. We found the service to be very lacking, the food to be half the amount of... More

I've eaten at Sears Landing Grill a number of times since moving to this area. I can't ever remember having a bad meal. The atmosphere isn't "special", but the views of the Intercoastal Waterway are great. Worth the time!

One of the best places to eat out seafood in the area ! Many of our friends have eaten here numerous times and we all agree - Consistently great food. Wonderful shrimp and oyster burgers. Love the screened porch bar and dining area out back by the water. Nice porch and rockers in the back as well to wait on... More

Went for lunch as a family, and every person in our company liked what they ate. Our 10-year-old really liked the seafood stew (recommended special). The fried green tomatoes and collard greens were sides we enjoyed immensely. Best of all though were the scallops, crab cakes, and grilled tuna. A must visit, if you're remotely close to there.
