Great food, cool atmosphere by the docks

We started with the seafood rolls- albeit fried, it was delicious and cheesy. I give them a 3.8 on thee delicious scale. My husband and I split the "pick 3" grilled seafood platter (had the fish, shrimp, and a crab cake) with grilled asparagus and fried green tomatoes for sides. Everything was spot... read more

This is the best place we have found for breakfast while staying in Topsail. The food is great, as well as, the price. And, you get to sit inside or outside overlooking the water. Wonderful view. This is one of our highlights and go here every morning while we visit. We have tried other places, but we prefer Sears Landing.

Sears Landing is one of the go-to places for vacationers on Topsail Island. It is land-side just before the swing bridge and has good parking. When there is a wait, the 10+ rocking chairs on the back porch, overlooking a small boat dock are a good place to relax. Go for outside seating on the porch and time visit to... More

Went twice in 1 week. Super breakfast values, appetizers are yummy and overall prices are great. Bartender makes a good spicy Bloody Mary. Outside deck has great view and is enclosed in winter. Service is good, but not spectacular. Order got messed up on one visit.

Stopped in for breakfast special2+2+2.$ 5.00 Quick and served until 11AM Great service but only 4 other customers. Food was perfect. Coffee is extra 2.25 per person. Great view and sweet accommodating staff.

Have been here before and service was good but food not so much. Ordered flounder, shrimp and fritters, fritters were awesome ,flounder was not local and breading awe full. Would think they would get local seafood especially for the prices you pay, it's not like it has to be shipped to them with seafood wholesalers all over the island! On North... More

Not sure what is going on at Sears Landing but my experience on 30 November was terrible. We arrived at 7pm for dinner, there were 2 other tables occupied. My wife and I ordered the pick 3 seafood (shrimp, oysters and flounder). While the shrimp and flounder had to be wrapped in paper to soak up the grease the oysters... More

In the past the breakfast has been great but this time something went wrong. My french toast was burnt and in some places I couldn't even cut through the crust. It was tough and chewy like it had been sitting out for a while and just reheated. I know they can do much much better so this won't keep me... More

Went on a Tuesday night few cars but we were told we had to wait for table when empty tables were everywhere. Waited about 10 minutes. Ordered 3 item seafood plate to share, seafood arrived about 5 minutes after we received our salad. Guy laughed and said it came out quick and took off. We had no extra plate and... More

By far best food on Topsail Island. Wife and I could easily eat lunch and dinner both here every day. Only thing this place could do to improve would be add oysters on half shell!
