Good breakfast

Very tasty little place that overlooks the water. We had omelettes and French toast. We went at about 10am. It was quiet and peaceful with a nice place to sit on the deck afterwards and watch the water.

We have been coming to Surf City for 8 years and have enjoyed Sears Landing in the past. Lots have changed. The dinner menu is expensive for the island, and the service is rushed. A dinner plate has one side and corn bread, with no substitutions at all. Bar prices were very high....A small margarita is $7.50, with lots of... More

An ok spot. We went for breakfast around 10am. Prices were reasonable($7/plate) but the food was not exceptional. My omelet was heavy on the onion and shredded potatoes & toast were cold. Enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the water.

We had a party of 8 with a variety of meals. Everyone enjoyed their food. Nothing was outstanding but nothing was bad either. Crabcakes were proababoly the favorite meal with slaw and cheesy grits the favorite sides.

Nice family restaurant. We went early and avoided the rush. The scallops were delicious. The feature fish was MahiMahi and it was delicious!! The portions are not huge but was enough. It was hot in the room we were in even though the overhead fans were on. Not sure about the air conditioning.

Went for lunch based on online info, crab legs not available, limited home made items and no good answers from the staff :(

My husband and I were anticipating eat at Sears Landing because of our past experiences. At first glance, I could tell the menu had changed for the shrimp and grits I desired were no where to be found. The food was good, but not great, it is definitely more of a casual, bar scene than it used to be, but... More

Got there early with a group of 7 (family) They could not seat us in the main DR (with AC). Tried to put us out back on the grass in the picnic area in the sun and wind. We left. We have eaten there in the past and the prices have really increased but the food was good. They have... More

My husband & I have been coming to Sears Landing for years as locals in the off season & bringing company in the summer time. The food quality has varied from excellent to "what happened here". The prices have gone up & the quantity has gone down. I think the final straw for us is that they no longer provide... More

Stopped in for a quick lunch. It's a smaller place. We chose to eat outside on the covered deck that overlooked the water. I had the fish sandwich of the day which was mahi mahi ... Very good!! The service was quick and the food can quickly!
