Good old fashioned service and good old fashioned (and good!) food. The place if you want to grab a quick hot dog or my fav, the Cheeseburger right off the grill. Reminds me of the kind of places we had around before the dawn of mass-fast food. Menu is everything you'd expect for an "ice cream/grill" - burgers, hotdogs, etc.... More

Stopped with co-workers on our way to Greensboro. Two of us had cheeseburger and one has the famous foot long dog, I would rate it a B. Not as fresh as I remember on a previous visit...

Small burger, fries, regular do with chili and slaw. I don't get to eat here often, but I've always had good food and service. If you eat in, it highly likely John the owner will stop by your table. A little more expensive than chain lunch, but well worth it.

I've only eaten here a couple of times and I've always gone for the hot dogs. They are good but nothing special. The last time I was there I got the chilli dog and was disappointed in hoe little chille you get for the extra cost.

I went to Jay Bees Hotdogs recently and will never return. This restaurant is for you if you like everything prepared and frozen or from a can. The hotdog had awful tasting chili from a can. The chicken sandwich at $3.49 was not even near the quality of McDonalds or Wendy’s $1 sandwich. The French fries were just ok.

Off the beaten path, but worth the stop for a good southern Hot Dog (ball park), chilli, slaw, mustard and onions. Food was fresh made and hot. Tater Tots or French fries are fresh cooked. And plenty of ties on the menu to choose from other than hot dogs. You gotta drop off I40 and try this place

True milk shakes! Thick, creamy, many flavors to choose from. If you are a hot dog person this is the place. Would recommend!

Dine there often. Hot dogs and burgers are good. My favorite is the sausage dog. Prices are reasonable. Im on a diet now so i miss going there, maybe that will be my treat when the diet is over

We stopped by to have lunch, but was very disapointed. Our buns were cold and we were not impressed. It will be a long time before we try Jay Bee's again.
