The Wings and the Pizza are one of the best I have every had. The owner/chef knows his foods very well. However, the owner/chef is not the most friendly person. Good thing he has a order taker out front. I suggest avoiding him. The pizza is a little pricy but good. Out door seating you look at Hwy 21 and... More

Wing sauce was a unique blend of spicy and tangy. It was a good kind of different. Pizza was also tasty. Definitely a good stop!

Fabulous pizza, wings and pub grub! Despite its lack of curb appeal we had a great dinner and this place is obviously a local favorite. Fantastic food, servers were very friendly & the food came out quickly. Special was beer battered chicken tenders and they were the best ever! All of the homemade dressings were yummy. Husband loved the cheeseburger... More

It's been awhile since I have managed to time my trips through Statesville to match those of 1849. Hours have changed a bit since I was through before and they are now closed Sundays AND Mondays as well as only open after 4:30 pm until.....???...depends on business.....later anyway. But the reward of getting there was well worth the wait. The... More

Unfortunately no draft all bottle. Pizza, wings and sandwiches all excellent. Our favorite is the garlic knots. Our usual order 10 wings (they have 3 styles), small pizza and an order of knots. I always have one of the new beer selections. Excellent is all I can say. Sometimes the servers get a little overwhelmed, still always friendly and hustling.

The food is the same (awesome) every time we eat here. Friendly environment and quick on service. We were able to take family of which includes small children and they seem to enjoy the food too. This is a place to fit into your budget at least once a month.

I've eaten here a few times, they make everything fresh and grow what they can. They have a wide beer selection. Our favorite item on the menu is the wings and their pizza are unique and very tasty.

this seemed to be the popular small pizza and wings hangout. If you are staying at one of the nearby hotels you can enjoy some unusual pizzas with the locals. we don't drink, but we did not feel uncomfortable that this appeared to be a favorite spot for exotic beers. Friendly. Convenient location.

Stopped here with my family while heading back North from vacation. The place was right near our hotel. The crust is a thinner crust (which I like) and the sauce was tangy (which I also like and is a rarity in my opinion). There weren't too many toppings but I don't really care as long as the overall pie tastes... More

We were traveling and this restaurant was within walking distance from our hotel. Great service. We were pleased with our choice. Will go back next time we stay there.
