I don't think they have a website. 336.372.3400. It's an extremely popular local eatery in Sparta, North Carolina. Great biscuits and gravy, great homemade pies. Lots of good food for about 1/2 of what you pay in big cities. Owners are onsite and chat you up. Very casual atmosphere. We ate there twice this week, for breakfast and dinner. They are near the Crooked Road Music Trail where pickers come to play mountain music. I think tourists should know about this great spot.

My wife and I drove to Sparta to visit this restaurant for lunch today (3/17/2015) and meet a family member making sales calls in Sparta. He asked for my recommendation and after reading all the wonderful reviews I directed him to Brown's. I do not think I have ever had a waitress so friendly and attentive as we were privileged... I was in Sparta with friends and we selected Brown's Restaurant for lunch! This was a great choice! Health Department grade was excellent! Super clean place to eat but not fancy! I can not ask for any better service! The food was fresh, tasty and hot! The waitress brought all of us a go cup to put our iced tea... More

Great home cooking. The food was well prepared, great portions, and seasoned well. Don't pass up on desert. The pies were amazing.

Pork chops and broccoli casserole were excellent. Great southern cooking and delicious desserts, although we were so full from the delicious meal we had to order the dessert to go.

As we are visiting from out of state we looked for a special place to enjoy our holiday meal. Brown's met our expectations. Wonderful turkey, dressing, gravy and fixins! We had an amazing choice for two sides and we chose broccoli casserole and sweet potato casserole. Both were outstanding! The broccoli was cut small and presented in a wonderful creamy... More

Came by on a Saturday night after checking for restaurants in the area. Brown's had fairly good ratings so we thought we would try since we were on our way home from a day in the mountains. We entered and the place was packed and the noise level was fairly high. We had to put our name on a notebook... More

Take cash as they don't accept CC or debit cards. Had to ask for more napkins several times as they appear to be rationing them. Wife got a hamburger which she said was good. I got the some sort of sirloin tips with onions, peppers and mushroom. The meat had no taste to it. The collards were so so but... More

I had breakfast - perfectly cooked french toast and bacon. The wait staff was super attentive; I got five cups of coffee without the cup ever being completely empty. And, the price was amazing. You don't find this kind of place much any more - really only in tiny towns such as Sparta. Eat here if you get the chance.
