We had dinner and breakfast at the Pines when we're stayed overnight in Sparta. Both were tasty, great size portions, and well presented. The servers were very attentive and friendly. We really enjoyed the Southern Hospitality.

Food was nothing great. Atmosphere lacking. Service was adequate. Would not recommend this place. You could survive on this food, but I saw nothing great about it.

I have eaten here a few times before. Today I took 14 senior adults from church there and The Pines folks took great care of us. The food was really good and very big portions. Wait staff was very attentive to our every need. We absolutely WILL be going back in the future.

Friendly staff, large menu, enjoyable fish entree, hushpuppies, okra, breads. Enjoyed the pleasant service. Near the Virginia state line. Would put this on my schedule again. Such an enjoyable alternative to fast food.

You can't go wrong with this place. Great food and service. Large tables to sit any size family.
