My wife and I visited Southport for the first time on this past Saturday and just happened upon the Pharmacy. It was 11:15am on a Saturday when we arrived and although their was no one in the dinning room we decided to try it. The gentleman who waited on us was very thorough and informative. I had the crap soup... More

A lovely restaurant in Southport. The owner's daughter, Madison was our server and she was delightful even when (due to a shaky table) we spilled our water and bottle of wine. The beet salad was very flavorful as was the wedge. The portions of the salads were rather large so we split the steak entree which was perfectly cooked.

Oh, yeah...gotta go back! The atmosphere of and old village shop with exposed brick walls and lots of wood...the service was attentive but not obtrusive....and the food superlative. A little pricy but worth it.Well done.

The Pharmacy Restaurant is our favorite restaurant in Southport. Excellent food and good service. The pastrami sandwiches, cheese steak sandwiches and their French fries are wonderful! The service was good to OK. It was difficult to get the waiter's attention at times, but they were very busy. We will definitely dine at the Pharmacy Restaurant again.

The location and the interior of this restaurant are excellent. The food was delicious--one of us had the chicken salad wrap, the other had the chicken salad over greens. The wrap was almost too much food. The server was almost too present, but was polite, personable and professional. I think the price was a bit high for chicken salad. I... More

Carol and I traveled to Southport last Wednesday (9/17) to purchase some yarn and have dinner. We decided to visit The Pharmacy again for dinner. We previously experienced this excellent restaurant last year for lunch. We were early so had our choice of seating, we pick the table near the front window so we could look out. Madison was an... We had dinner on Labor Day weekend, not much of a wait. The decor is interesting, clean and pleasant. We had the green fried tomatoes and they were excellent. The crab cakes were very good too, cooked in a different way than the usual. The menu was quite pricey, our waitress was very busy but took the time to check... More

Pharmacy has been a favorite of ours for years. Most of the dishes are presented well and taste terrific; however, we have watched their prices creep up to an unsatisfactory level. We used to go there very regularly but now go less than once a month. The service is usually very good and the atmosphere is pleasant. I recommend Pharmacy... More

Then this is the place for you!!!! I was asked to leave; accused of being rude for asking why a kids meal (chicken fingers) were so expensive :) At 10 dollars!!! I said "wow, those better be some really good chicken fingers" and was then accused of being rude. A short little trashy man from the bar came over to... More

Didn't want to ruin a planned family dinner so we shared soup and salad. Wow! What flavor. Great waiter and attentive service. Next time I'm in the area will plan on dinner. Everyone's food looked so enticing and was served attractively. Treat yourself to the Pharmacy!
