Warm & Friendly

Good food. Cute and friendly place to grab a quick lunch. Loved the antique decor of the "home". Can dine inside or outside.

Crowded and fun, if you have small children it is a very tempting place for them to touch everything. Better for a ladies shopping trip tea. Excellent food.

Like many restaurants in Southport, this deli is in an old house on the main street of Southport only a block from the riverfront. This is a great spot for breakfast or lunch. One of the only places you can find a bagel in the mornings. They serve a variety of fresh salads, soups and sandwiches with a daily lunch special... More

It was pouring rain and pretty chilly when I stopped in for lunch. I found the perfect antidote to the gllomy day inside the Moore Street Deli. I had a delcious grilled pimento cheese with grilled onion sandwich, listened to Perry Como sing Christmas songs and was served by a woman with genuine hospitality. Good food, good music, good people..good... More

They sell Boars Head brand meats and cheeses for putting on sandwiches or bagels and they do it well. Service is always friendly and fast. It's not a place to hang out in line, as it's very crowded in there and it has no outlet for the grill scent to go so you will smell like what you eat, but... More

Down by water and lunch time, perfect place to buy sandwiches to eat in or take out. We both enjoyed different ones, one was a roast beef, the other a turkey, but so many variations of the meats, cheese, breads and condiments.
