The corncakes with jalapeno honey and goat cheese are my favorite. Lightly fried cod was exactly that....no heavy breading -moist and delicious. Service is excellent.

My husband and I returned for Sunday brunch after a very great meal last month. The food is excellent and creative. No plain cheese omelet or eggs over easy here! Best sausage links ever and unique dishes with a twist of creativity that rivals anywhere we have eaten. Service friendly and efficient. We will return again soon!!

My wife and I went for brunch during a Sunday drive to Southport. We were pleasantly surprised. My wife did the best -- a grits cake with collards and bacon and egg (not on their on-line Sunday brunch menu). It was simply delicious, a great balancing of different southern flavors, with the tartness of the collards' vinegar balancing the other flavors.... More

Had lunch with a friend there Friday. The service was great and the New England clam chowder was wonderful! The burger was yummy and the French fries seasoned very well! Would go back!

Ports of Call has the best Sunday breakfast (highly recommend the stuffed French toast) with the best sausage links outside of Scottland and a delicious dinner menu (highly recommend the pork tenderloin.) The ambiance is nice also and it's interesting examining and studying the maps which are a part of each table settiing.

Although the restaurant was packed, the service and the food were outstanding. The chef helped bring our plates to the table, which was a nice touch. The server apologized for being so busy, but we felt that the service allowed us to continue our conversation without a lot of interruptions. Their Oktoberfest specials were wonderful!

Great food and menu selections. Will keep this as one of our permanent places to go in Southport. Only complaint was martini was served in small "cordial type" glass.. not impressive.
