We ate here on Nov. 18, 2014. It was a slow night but the service and the food were excellent. The clam chowder had a little "bite" which was different but very tasty. The salmon BLT was excellent.

We had our evening meal while watching the sun set and the lighthouse get brighter as the day waned into darkness. The service was fast and Amber was knowledgeable about the different choices. My wife had the Clam chowder and a salad while I had their Salmon sandwich with sweet potato fries. Thanks for a lovely evening.

We were headed for the The Provision Company for lunch and found it was closed for the season. Next door was the Yacht Basin Eatery and it was open. We ordered a drink and then I looked them up on Trip Advisor and found the poor reviews. I told my wife "we're not eating here". So we walked out and... More

I had chowder and a grill cheese. A bowl of the chowder was filling, didn't need the sandwich. I think there was something in the chowder that I must be allergic to, it was good but I felt clammy (no pun intended) afterwards.

Lunch...I had the fried flounder sandwich. Batter was light and crispy, fish cooked just right. My husband had tuna with mango salsa on a pita. He said it was really good. The side salad with warm bacon vinaigrette dressing was delicious and the sweet potato fries were acceptable. Atmosphere is very comfortable. Water views! Worth another visit. Southport is charming... More

good food, great location, good service, good prices, watch out for water at the entrance, they are on a low spot so at high tide they have a little draw-bridge to enter the place - a REAL sea-food place

Had the Baja Tacos which were good. A bit pricey...IMHO. Definitely off season - not enough wait staff and service was a bit slow. A beautiful day but we were seated inside with with plastic blocking the windows/view which was unfortunate. Try to sit outside!!!

We were in Southport for the day on a Sunday during the offseason. We asked around about a good place with local appeal and flair. Fishy Fishy was recommended. The building is actually very inviting. It was the type of place I would be drawn to. The atmosphere was very nice and the service was very good. We asked about... More

The food is very good but the views are spectacular. We watched the sun go down from our outside table. Southport is a great place to visit and I would recommend eating by the water.
