Don't come here if you want plain american food. This place has a wonderful selection of unusual entrees. I had a sashimi tuna last time and it wad great. I only had one complaint. My party of 4 was a few minutes late for our reservation and we were told what time we had to leave by for the next... More

I wrote a review on 195 that was titled "pickled ribeye" after visiting and ordering a ribeye that I believe had been marinated too long. Soon after review was submitted, Tony from 195 called to express his concern over my dinning experience. I believe he was sincere when telling me that the restaurant did not operate that way and offered... More

We enjoyed our visit during the US Open. Service was excellent. We were surprised that most of the salads included blue cheese. After requesting a salad without, the chef said no. Apparently these are prepared in advance. Our main courses were good. The filet was very good. Several steaks to choose from.

Great décor and attentive service. Prices bumped up for the US Open, but everyone did that in the Pinehurst area. Excellent menu with a great variety of entrees. Minor complaint: my curried chicken promised basmati rice but was served with what looked and tasted like plain old Uncle Ben.... I would definitely give 195 another go.

The decor and service was very nice, but it was the food that impressed us. First of all, the menu was so inviting it was difficult to make our choices. Four of us shared tastes of our appetizers; fried oysters, grilled portobello mushrooms and asian dumplings as starters. But my mussels were the best - perfectly plump in a tomato... More

My visit to 195 was on May 23rd 2014 in the evening. I visited to celebrate my grandaughters Graduation along with 6 other family members. On arriving with reservations we were sat down quickly and i thought the decor was exciting and progressive. Orders were taken quickly but noticed that the service was not in line with the higher end... More

But when I do remember it for our dining choice, I'm always so happy and kicking myself for not visiting more frequently. As others have said, it is noisy and difficult to hear, particularly in larger groups, but I rather love the cacophony of it all. There are many things I love about this place--the first is rather stupid, but... More

As a general rule, I avoid writing reviews about the restaurants in my home town because it seems so self-serving; it's much better just to chat with the manager, owner or bartender and let him know what went right and what could be improved. The downside of that policy is that when a restaurant does a truly delightful job, nobody... More

My favorite restaurant to meet friends for lunch. Great chicken curry. Fish sandwich is awesome. Wonderful salads.

We ate here for the second time on Saturday, March 8. The food again was superb. (If the daily soup special is white bean soup with vegetables, ORDER IT--it as magnificent!). One of our party had the shrimp with linguini, and it was seasoned to perfection. I had my favorite from last time, a portabello mushroom sandwich, and it was... More
