We ate a late dinner here the other night. Although we closed down the place our server was very patient and attentive. Food was good and drinks were great.

We added a 5th person to our reservations and got this super nice room with just one table! Cozy but plenty of room for service and away from everything. Waiter was pleasant and did a good job. Salad very fresh. All entrees were good and peach cobbler was absolutely worth the calories.

A local recommended this spot to us. We wanted to grab a late dinner after a concert and we were hungry. They sat us around 9:30 and the place was packed. There is a fine dinning side and a pub side. We went casual and ordered appetizers and burgers in the pub. The food was and service were both outstanding... More

We NEVER eat in the same place twice when traveling. Well, we broke that rule and ate 2 of 3 dinners at Ashten's during our recent visit to Southern Pines. With an elegant up-scale fine dining room upstairs, and a cool, eclectic, fun pub downstairs, it felt like we were eating in 2 different places. Both the fine dining and... More

Most importantly...choose the Parlor. The atmosphere is great - dark, cozy, eclectic. Only the sofa was available, and it was perfect. The parlor has tables and a very cool bar -- small, with lots of character. Our dinner & service were both amazing. We loved our waiter, Collin. I recommend the edamame hummus and tuna appetizers. Presentation and taste were... More

Had supper with two friends there and the food and service were excellent. One of my friends is a local boy and it seemed he knew everyone, or everyone knew him. I met way too many people to know their names, but the whole experience was just great. The wine was excellent as was the meal. The service was first... More

The food was breath taking & amazing! Despite the fact the service was very delayed it was worth the wait.

Impressive. We were a party of 8 after the final round of the US Open, very crowded and busy, yet our meals and service where prepared and served as if we were the only people in the place. Our choices of appetizers and entrees ranged over virtually the entire menu and everything was outstanding. Wine, cocktails and food service was... More

Dropped in with no reservation on a Sunday, no problem got at table in the "bar" downstairs. Not really a bar, nice dining service with small tables, quiet and comfortable. Very attentive and helpful staff, I had the chicken breast sandwich with portobello and other mushrooms which was to die for. My wife had the salmon and loved it, which... More

We had a party of 8 for dinner while in Pinehurst for the US open. This was my first visit to Southern Pines and I was the only non-local in our party. The restaurant lived up to its reputation and the food was excellent. The ambience is nice for a group our size but just as nice for a dinner... More
