Great service - Great food

Ate dinner for 7 with business colleagues. Very attentive staff who worked well as a team catering to our needs. Extensive menu options featured American cuisine but with a lot of local flair. Would highly recommend and would definitely return.

We drove from Fayetteville because we heard so many great things and wanted fine dining which is hard to find when you're used to Charleston. Anyway, the location was very charming. It was definitely off the beaten path. They have a pub and a formal dining room. We sat in the front of the dining room. I liked our location... More

Locally owned and operated, Ashton's is a lovely restaurant with excellent food and attentive staff. Located in a historical building in downtown Southern Pines, it has comfortable furnishings, an small but beautiful old bar fixture, and linen covered dining tables. The menu features locally grown produce and wonderful eclectic menu choices.Very much worth a visit. I would suggest reservations.

What an incredible gem hidden in downtown Pinehurst. From the classy bar serving the perfect Manhattan, to the beyond belief food and service. I wish I could remember out server's name as she provided the best dining experience I've had in a long while. Try the artichoke pops and the rueben egg rolls. Both are simply divine. The crab cake... More

Since we moved to SoPi we have heard great things about Ashten's. After tonight's dinner, I'm not sure what the fuss is about. The menu choices were ok. A menu needs more than local ingredients to make it great. The artichoke and cheese appetizer was too rich (didn't know that was possible). Reuben egg roll was GREAT. Fish and chips... More

Went for an extended family dinner with high expectations. Nice space and service, but the food was tired and dull. May have been too busy a night with lots of large groups, but was hoping for more.

We went for Mother's Day/Father's Birthday! Everything was absolutely amazing and my family truly enjoyed it. I ordered a Steak that was a special and they only had 5, sooooo glad I ordered it. Everyone truly enjoyed the food. The small setting made it worth everything. It took a little longer to get food but I understand. Bread with molasses... More

We go here whenever we are in Pinehurst--usually 2-3 times a year. They always remember us and are very welcoming. Ashten's is wonderful because it has a dual personality--on the one side you are in a very upscale, fancy restaurant with white tablecloths, elegant lighting and extremely attentive wait staff. On the other side, there is a wonderful, long wooden... More

When the staff is pleasant and polished, the menu varied and imaginative with locally sourced ingredients, and much attention has been given to the overall ambiance and delivery of a fine dining experience, you have the recipe for a successful restaurant.

Neat restaurant in heart of Southern Pines. A nice, varied menu, serving local beef and produce. You had splurge on a higher priced full entree or they have a very nice bar type menu -- burgers, etc. Very nice atmosphere and the wine pours are very generous.
