We had the opportunity to take a Chef friend with 20+ years experience in 5 star Hotel/Inn from out of town to Curt's and he give major compliments to Curt. We started with the Calamari appetizer which is always excellent with a light batter adorned with fresh basil and homemade marinara gravy. He remarked the bread was very tasty and... More

You know when you walk in the door of a restaurant, that if it smells really really good, there's a great likelihood your food will taste great as well. This is true about Curt's Cucina. Walking in the door, you are seduced by the wonderful of great Italian cuisine. The calamari was abundant and cooked to perfect. The Saltimbocca was... More

With some of the best Italian food in the Sandhills it's no wonder the chef has been named one of the tops in the state and has been selected to compete on the Food Channels "Chopped" series. We had dinner there again last evening and it was excellent. Service is friendly and knowledgeable, prices are very moderate, the wine list... More

Plain no frills décor. Friendly staff and adequate wine list. Pretty good carbonara, but my wife's Tilapia was delivered in a sea of tomato sauce. Somewhere underneath was the fish. Worth another try after the US Open when prices come back down.

We stopped by on a whim and were treated to a delightful evening. I moved from a City that had multiple Italian restaurants and Curt's would be in the top 5 of the list. My lasagna was flavorful and creative, my dining companion had the chicken picata and it was great. Family friendly and has a nice buzz. Come early... More

OK...it's the US Open down here in the Pinehurst area. Thousands want to be feed! So do locals. What to do??? Call and make a reservation..like you do every week. End result...the best Italian food in the Sandhills....the best wait staff, hostess staff, bartenders and, of course, Chef Himself! Week after week we and our family and our friends have... More

Curt is the best chef in town. His national accolades are only surpassed by his dedication to the local community. Curt's food is always top notch. Watch out for his specials, he sprinkles in Italian masterpieces with old favorites from his past menus. The quality and consistency of his food is why he has the most loyal and fervent following... I think that you need to step back. Any local and I am , knows that when we have this many people in our area, our restaurants are going to be full. And no one can blame them for trying to get an economic boost that the US Open has given them this year. We as locals have the good... More

If you haven't been here you are missing the Best food in Southern Pines. Frank is usually our exellent waiter, call for reservations because the word is out & it's fast becoming everyone's favorite Italian restaurant. Love the light batter calamari apetizer and the best "Gravy" for dipping. Forget about those Chain restaurants and all the preservatives and eat healthy... More

This was our second year coming to Curt's for hubby's birthday. We love it. The antipasto is so large and full of flavor. More then enough for four, let alone us two! Kind of wish they had a few kid friendly items but our son does love the bread. We take him everywhere so it was a bit of a... More
