Good service, pleasant setting, Lunch w/ beer was $15 and this is an upscale menu offering much more than just a burger. Good choices, well prepared and presented. I'll go back!

I was recently in Southern Pines for the day and had looked at another website for recommendations for a good lunch spot and Wolcott's was on my list. We asked some locals their recommendations and because we got about 6 different ones, I decided we would go to Wolcotts. Fortunately they were still open for lunch and did not have... More

We went to Wolcott's specifically for the Lobster Roll, but the menu looked so good, it was tempting to steer away from our course. We decided that at least one of us should have the lobster roll, and all three of us decided we wanted our own. GOOD CHOICE. The waitress was wonderful and told us about 90% of what... More

We are always looking for new restaurants to try and when we saw the newspaper ad advertising great lobster rolls we just had to give it a try. They were not exaggerating. My lobster roll was absolutely delicious. We started with lobster bisque which was great with it's large chunks of lobster meat. Wife has the lobster pie which she... More

The restaurant we wanted to visit for our 24th anniversary was closed for the week of July 4, so we "settled" for Wolcott's - and will definitely be back. Not only was the service and presentation fantastic, but the food was wonderful and the experience superb. We'll be making many return visits...

Lunch: the Lobster roll is the best in town and when it's not too hot the side porch is a great place for lunch.

Excellent food with great selections from a limited menu. Only offer what can be prepared, to order and fresh. Great chef and attentive, well trained staff. Only minus in otherwise perfect evening - entrance directly into restaurant - no vestibule so weather can be an issue. Bar could be smaller. Otherwise - perfect evening. .

This a charming little restaurant that seats less than 40 people. The menu selections are very good but limited. Featured are a few appetizers in addition to a couple of unique salads and soups. There are approx. 6-8 entree selections. Our party of 4 had the beet salad which was good, but needed more cheese. Amongst our group we had... More

We started our first dining experience with Wolcott's on a slightly sour note. Arriving about 5 minutes before our reserved time we were told our table was just finishing up and it would only be a few minutes. So we sat outside and enjoyed a cocktail but 40 minutes passed before our table was finally vacated. In Wolcott's defense -... More
