We've been going here since childhood. It is one of our all time favorites. Food is delicious and you can't ask for better service.

They have the best Bar B Que around the Shelby area and I will eat there again. The atmosphere was relaxed and the business was busy when we went to lunch there. The service was good and the food was great!

We eat here once a year, always on a Sunday, as we travel home from camping. Sunday around lunch the place is packed, so avoid that time! They never have enough staff then. The hush puppies are wonderful, vinegar based BBQ is great, and we had an apple dumpling dessert that was awesome! Our lunch was $45 for two adults... More

Stopped bye for lunch today and the place was packed at noon. Turns out there's a national baseball tournament going on in Shelby. The counter was full so I took a booth. I was waited on immediately. I ordered the sliced pork, which comes with hushpuppies and vinegar based coleslaw. You get your money's worth in food and a mini... More

We actually sat with a lovely couple we met in line--which was out the door--always a good sign. However, it was not a place I would recommend to anyone from Texas or other hardcore BBQ lovers who prefer their meat smoked. Very friendly waitstaff...

If you like Southern BBQ, this is a good place to stop and have a bite. Three of us shared a BBQ chicken and pork platter served with hush puppies and fries. It was very good, inexpensive, and satisfying. Service was friendly. Being from the north, this was a good intro to our NC trip.

(look out back & see the yards long wood pile) service is friendly even when the are really busy. if they were closer to where we live, we'd be... More

This is a family run restaurant with excellent, friendly service. The main star is the pork, so tender and flavoursome, lightly smoked. The sauce was vinegar based and delicious. Included on the plate was red 'slaw, very particular and which went well with the pork. Finally the food included hush puppies. In truth this was the first time we had... More
