This is a wonderful little restaurant (in a gas station behind Naber Dodge!) of all places! The chef (Sal) left a larger restaurant to go out on his own and he is clearly going to do very well. He makes the best shrimp and grits we've ever had, she crab soup, shrimp bisque, chicken salad, pizza's, homemade potato chips, homemade tortilla chips, etc. Open for breakfast and lunch. He also runs a catering business. Style is kind of local and simple but with a gourmet touch! Wonderful.

This restaurant is now out of business

Hi all - This restaurant went out of business several months ago. The food was good, however, I'd heard that the owner of the building wanted to sell it, plus the ajoining lots, so the restaurant mgr had to fold. You can stop listing this business on TripAdvisor.

So many southern restaurants serve shrimp and grits but the Grill set the bar very high. Some of the best I've ever had including the tony places in Charleston. The she crab soup is another excellent winner.

This has been one of our favorite local places, but as of 9/01/14, they are closing their doors and relocating to Sunset Beach NC, a few miles south of the current location. I don't know the new address, but will post it if/when I find it.

We have stopped here twice now, my wife and I tried the cheeseburger and it was a kller (good), day we went staff gave great service both times, so no complaints. We took the Grandkids for lunch and it wad enjoyable. Hot chips are good too.

I went to eat here since I heard great things about The Grille's shrimp and grits. As I was walking into the restaurant, the sanitation rating was a B. I left without eating due to the rating.

It had been a few months since last visiting The Grill so we tried it again last Saturday. Unfortunately, our experience was not good. It started with noticing the place really dirty and unorganized. Plus it was raining outside and dripping on our table. After placing our order the wait was 45 minutes to get the food. I had my... More

The food was excellant. Homemade fries and chips which I love !! I had and italian sub and it was great. I would suggest the wait staff -- you should come back to the table to see how your meal is or to see if you need anything else. Otherwise food was great and we will go back when in... More

Went to eat lunch a couple of days ago and all I ordered was a grilled chicken sandwich an order of fries and water. I thought the fries came with it but come to find out it was extra although the menu said it came with it. None the less it was $9.59. Whew that was expensive. Will not go... More

We found The Grille in a terrible thunderstorm, looking for a quick carry-out lunch. The servers are very friendly, and we were made welcome. Our food was prepared freshly, and honestly, it was the best restaurant seafood that we had during a week on the Brunswick coast ! The flounder and shrimp were very lightly breaded with a corn based... More

We went to The Grille on a Friday night around 5, we were 1 of 3 families there. We placed out order with the waitress, shrimp, crabby patty, hush puppies, and after 45 minutes thy brought chips to the table and said that there was a shift change and our food was taking longer then usual. After 55 minutes of... More
